Had my gastric bypass done February 28th. I've lost 25lbs so far. But this week I've only lost 1lb and I don't know why? I'm staying within the 600 calorie a day yet I'm not loosing anything. And this whole week I've been feeling hungry all the time! I know some of it could be related to head hunger but still, there's no reason why I shouldnt be loosing weight and feeling hungry this early on . I'm freaking out thinking that I have already screwed up and stretched out my pouch or something. Any advice would be great!! Thanks!

I had mine on the 20th of February and when I hit that amount lost I also hit a small plateau like you. Don't be discouraged. It's easy to forget the pounds won't melt off like they had been. I know I felt depressed the day I jumped on the scale and it didn't even look like I had lost anything. Give it a few days and you'll start seeing it come off again.

I had my surgery 01/11/12 and I have hit many plateaus and reminded the exact same weight for 2 weeks the dr explained that during those non loose weeks your body is loosing inches that is why it's so important to not just weigh yourself but to also measure your inches as well I measure my inches like once a month and the first month I had lost a total of 27 inches.

I have found that the weeks I have not lost weight it was sometimes because I did not get enough Protein in. I also have hit a few plateaus along the way. I know it can be discouraging but keep up with your Water and exercise along with eating right and before you know it the scale will show a loss.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
