Back to Work

Okay today was my first day back to work and my body is hating me... I have a desk job but my seat is low and my left side feels like muscles are pulling when I walk... I'm being very careful not to lift, etc... I still think to work an 8 hour shift after not working for a full 2 weeks my body is rebelling! I hope it gets better every day! Oy!

I felt the same way... And I also work in a desk job. Sitting upright all day did a number on me. I felt sore for the first week. Try to get up from your desk and walk a little bit every so often. Good luck!

I went back to work after two weeks. I'm a teachers I can sit as well but we had in service the first week and I was in hell from all the sitting in uncomfortable chairs. I felt like my abdomens was ripping open with every wrong move. A month back to work now I'm ok and it only hurts every so often :) hope it gets better for you

It will get better. I think by week 4 I felt like I had never had surgery (except I couldn't eat as much). Hang in there.
