I am 1 month post-op. I went from a size 24 to a 20 pre-op. I am now a 16 ish. Unbelievable.

What I don't understand is when did the clothes on the rack get so big for the sizes. In the 1990's I weighed 220lbs and wore a size 22. Now today I weigh 234 lbs and fit into a size 16. I don't get it. I have 10 year old jeans that are a size 16 and their is no way I can fit into them. My 10 year old size 20's fit snuggly.

But regardless, I am extremely happy with my sleeve. I am down 55 lbs total. Woohoo 4 me!

Doesn't this seem UNREAL???? I was sleeved Jan. 30th 2013. I was in a size 16 pant and x-lrg shirt that day. I went shopping 3 weeks ago and bought size 6, now they are falling down as I walk, so had to buy a size 4 pant this past weekend along with my size small shirt. It almost made me cry in the dressing room. What an awesome gift we have given ourselves. :D

SINGLE DIGITS!!!! How EXCITING!!!! I can't wait to be there myself. I'll be four months out in three days and I went from an 18/20 to a 12 in about 13 weeks. I have had a slow month this month, but I LOVE my sleeve too and I can't wait to be in a 6/8. Congrats to you!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
