From all that I've read here and elsewhere, it sounds like you hit a stall.. and your body is making adjustments.. You should stick to the program and allow it to re-adjust and catch up.

Your body does things in order. It is unfathomably complex and many departments have to do their thing before the scale moves. Sometimes a sluggard in one department fails to read the memo about hurrying from the brain and takes a nap. Eventually the calorie deficit comes in and kicks his butt into action.

It is impossible to eat what you are eating and hold on to your fat stores unless you have been diagnosed with some rare condition.

Ha Ha..love the analogy.. Sound like the American government of late..lol

Don't stress it, do what you are suppose to and you will lose lbs. Sometimes it takes a while for your system to catch up. I know we all want it to come off immediately but your body will lose, sometimes we get stuck and nothing comes off for a couple of weeks but then you may lose 4-5lbs in one week. Good luck!

I am losing very slowly . I had my surgery 8/5 . lost 9 pds pre op and 16 after. so i'm down 25 pds . But, I still feel a lot better that being 25 pds heavier. I know I eat more than I should and sometimes the wrong things. I try to make better choices everyday.

I'm 10 wks out from a band revision. I lost 18 lbs (I started at 174 so I knew Id lose slower) 5he first 6 wks. Haven't lost a lb in 4 wks. I'm traveling now visiting family in a different state. Guess I'm using that as an excuse to eat crap. Not very much crap, but crap nonetheless. My sleeve tolerates everything but ice cream (including burgers, fries, corndogs {went to the fair} and Cookies. Haven't tried pizza yet bbut I'm sure it'll go down just fine). I wish my sleeve would reject all of these things and make the right choices for me but alas, I've figured out I have to make the decisions for my sleeve, not the other way around. I'm happy I can only eat 1/3 of an In and Out Burger, maybe 6 fries, maybe 1/3 of a corndog. Otherwise Id be gaining all I lost back.

Hopefully when I get back home and all becomes normal again I will make better choices. At least I'm hoping...

I really needed too read this thread' so disappointing was my Dr second revisit with the scale down half a pound.

I was sleeved 8/26 and lost 16 1/2 lbs since surgery total of 33.

When I suggested a platu he said it was unlikely at this stage, maybe I should have said stall?

Anyway left there so depressed knowing I walked my first mile two days ago and was so proud.

I had my surg on 8/13 my weight was 283 then 271 at date of surg and today im down to 241. Its a slow process for some. I know how you feel. When i was at 3 weeks i stalled for about a week then went down. Last week i went up one lb n back down 2. So i guess our bodies still adjusting to this big change. But youve done great so far. We jus gota be patient. Im like you i wana see it drop like the beginning. Well get there ;)

I had surgery on 8/13 and haven't lost a pound in almost 3 weeks. It's very frustrating. What all are you eating now. I haven't cheated. I'm not getting as much Water as I should be. How about you?

Water is really important. I try n drink it all day. Its hard for me. Whats your total weight loss so far? I see we had surg the same day.

I started at 184 and weigh 161. I'm happy with some weight loss, but 3 weeks and no weigh loss seems unreal.

I stalled for about a month after the first two weeks and then started to lose again. It was frustrating!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
