Hey, I was sleeved 8/8/13 and had lost 23 pounds since surgery yesterday I went to the nut and I weighted 3 pounds more putting at 20 pounds down. But I tried to keep myself positive I started this journey at 120/125 that means I've lost a total of around 35 since I started this journey ( not bad).. Keep positive, at least this is what I try

I totally understand your fear.this is mine to.I said to my self that this is for me.Well I really haven't had alot of "me time“.I need more Water and I need to really put a food menu together for me. I am one of those people that really haven't told anyone because I'm so afraid that people will be like wow you haven't lost any weight...or judge me if I'm eating something they think I shouldn't. So ur fear is valid and your not alone.I keep saying day by day.lbs by lbs.good much keep us posted

Now I wish I never told anyone because if I fail I would look bad but I don't want to fail

Ok keke and others, time to change the mindset, people. If you set your mind to "fail" it is so easy for that to become a self fulfilling prophecy.

You made a great decision to get sleeved, you are giving yourself the best chance to get healthy and slim. But in the same way you couldn't lose weight without a sleeve, your sleeve can't lost weight without you doing your bit.

Protein, fluids and exercise. Do what you have been asked to do and your sleeve will work with you to achieve your goals. Don't start out with failure at the front of your mind - think "fresh start" and the chance to get things right. There will be bumps on the road but you have done well so far. Focus on that and banish the thought of failure.... Good luck :-))))

I'm so sorry it wasn't meant to scare you keke but to tell others its ok to feel the way they are feeling and they are not alone.I would love to be able too own this sleeve like many others do.I'm not there in my journey yet. I'm doing good thus far with some bumps n bruises...it's very mental at this time for me. So good luck to everyone one. It's going to be a good ride!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
