It's very comforting to know I'm not alone with all this stuff. I can relate to almost all of them. Hopefully someday we wont have these worries anymore! :)

1. People saying "you have such a pretty face" 2. Chub rub 3. Being scared to sit in a chair 4. Getting to restaurants first just in case you can't fit in the seat. 5. Everyone at work asking what your ordering for lunch 10. Cute "big girl" clothes are hard to find I could go on and on. I'm hoping to have my surgery in January! Say a prayer for me!

1. My 5 year old asking me why I'm not skinny

2. Ankle swelling

3. Always out of breath

4. NEVER in pictures, and if I'm in the background of one I delete the evidence

5. MIL calling me fat

6. Being judged by my lunch like I should be eating lettuce only

7. Dreaming of all the clothes I could wear if I was thin, but having to shop in a tiny section with no selection instead of a whole store.

I could go on forever! I've come so far. This is a great thread. How encouraging.

This is tmi' date=' but being intimate with my husband and scared to be on top, I always thought I was hurting him[/quote']

I feel the same way. He looks uncomfortable and I ask if he's okay and he says yes... but I don't know if I believe him. This I WONT miss.

Sheena

I remember a time where a girl I thought I was going to marry left me for a guy 100lbs lighter. I'm not going to miss that crap at all. She left me for a skinny little guy...maybe one day I'll be the skinny guy in the story.

I don't think you would want someone that shallow Justin, your better than that

I will not miss:

struggling to put socks on

always being out of breath

worrying about certain chairs

people always looking at what you are eating

your face is so pretty

chubby cheeks..someone actually said that to me

pants not splitting..yes they did..at airport

not asking for extenders when flying

not being so tired all the time

bed not making noise when I get in it

not feeling comfortable naked

pants too tight...binding around waist

socks too tight

illnesses associated with obesity

steering wheel hitting my belly

feet swelling

proper feminine hygiene without struggling (you know what I mean)!!!!

I have thousands more!

I won't miss pretending to be OK and confident about myself regardless of my weight... Cracking fat people jokes about myself just to ease the anxieties of friends and strangers... Pretending to be strong and sarcastic, when I really feel terrible about my size and don't think there is anything funny about it...
