  1. Hey. I'm from Memphis. Dr Weaver did my surgery. What meeting is Tuesday night?
  2. I do not agree with this at all. What about single people or even widowed people? Not everyone is in an intimate relationship. I'm so upset after reading this that I'm having trouble putting my thoughts in words. That's really all I can say now.
  3. Hi yoga lady. I am just now reading your post. I'm very sorry for your loss. Could we communicate via conversation?
  4. Believe it or not, I found scrubs at the Goodwill last week. They were a few bucks a piece. I was thrilled!
  5. I was thinking this earlier before I saw this post. I work nights too and I'm hungry all night. I'm not hungry on my off days. I hope someone has some suggestions for this problem!
  6. You look terrific. Congratulations!
  7. I was cleared at 6 weeks. For the first six weeks I was told to walk.
  8. Wow! What a beautiful transformation. I'm 7 weeks out and down 37 pounds. It amazing how much better I feel already. I cannot imagine how much better I will feel when I get to goal, like you. Congratulations!
  9. Wow! That great progress! Congratulations.
  10. I use the Honey Dijon salad dressing. I love it. Walmart carries it.
  11. You look great...and happy too. Congratulations!
  12. I'm 7 weeks post op and became a widow last week. I'm looking for someone who might be in a similar situation to buddy up with/ mentor. Thank you.
  13. You look great! Congratulations!
  14. You look terrific! Congratulations.
  15. Thank you for your responses. I've been trying power ad zero and decaf tea. I'm not feeling as dizzy.
  16. I need help, please. I was sleeved 6 weeks ago. My husband of 16 years passed away Saturday. I'm feeling very dizzy and lightheaded this morning. Makes me nervous to get out of chair. I've been drinking, of course not near 64oz. Eating, but not as much as I should. Urinating normally. Any suggestions? Thank you
  17. The only way bi-polar has affected me is for the first 4 weeks, I threw up every time I took my meds. I'm 6 weeks out and just now not throwing up.
  18. My doctor told me walking only until 6 weeks post-op.
  19. There will always be haters. Sad, but true. I experienced that at work tonight. In a group setting a few ladies were commenting on my weight loss. One person said "I could do that too if I had surgery".
  20. An extension cord came in handy for charging phone and iPad...otherwise I could not have reached it while charging. Good luck!
  21. I would call your surgeons office tomorrow and tell them. Hopefully it will be ok. Good luck with your surgery!
  22. I would really recommend you talk with your surgeon about the Motrin. As mentioned previously, NSAIDs are not to be used after surgery. I did use my pain meds for a few days. My nausea meds I'm still using. The reflux meds I cannot do without. Good luck with your surgery!
