Anti-Semitism In France!

I told you I had no idea of the accuracy of their information. I was just pointing out that there are other statistics out there that say otherwise.

Listen, a lot of the references used on this thread come for very Liberal left-wing nuts that don't have an unbiased viewpoint either. Have you discounted those too?

Ron, have you researched the organizations behind those sites? The fact that you are using them to dignify your "opinion" has solidified your bigotry, IMO. You should maybe look for better sources than a racist organization and a bunch of racist crackpots.

I just viewed the site for the first time. It contains stats for homicides only, but assuming that the same ratio is also comparable to all violent crime, that my assumption was wrong and I stand corrected. This is what I have been asking for all along and I have no problem admitting when I am wrong. I never saw this link before.
Thank you. That's all we've been asking.

Well, that's okay. So now you are a cool kitty and that is a good thing.

I do when they aren't even defendable. There is a difference between "biased" and outright "racist".

From "Ending the Race Crisis in the 21st Century" on http://ourcivilisation.com/usa/.

Disgusting.

Agreed. That site is very racist. talking about race wars and comparing other races and cultures as parasites. That is scary stuff!

Then maybe it's me! I just can't comprehend how you could consider something to be sin, and abomination and spoken against in scripture, and condone it for others and not speak out about it!! Your position that "two consenting adults can choose to live an abominal lifestyle, and it doesn't effect society" just doesn't make any sense to me. If you remember your scriptures, you will recall that this was the very lifestyle that cause the downfall of Sodom. Do you think homosexuality had a bad effect on that society??

Ron - I am not trying to be argumentative. I don't beleive I have ever comprimised my faith. Never have I stated anything less than my beleifs and have not been swayed by others who have a different beleif. I am not ashamed of my faith or back down from it. There is difference between sharing your faith and getting in people's faces and demanding they believe as you do. That's the difference in us. Sharing is just that. Its letting people know what you beleive in and why. Its not about getting upset if others don't agree.

Ron, I am not going to argue. I don't mind a debate, just flat out being argumentative is not my style. Just as I did with other discussions with others, we can agree to disagree. Thanks.

I am not trying to be argumentative either, I am just trying to understand your mindset. Coming from someone with your foundational beliefs, I find them hard to comprehend. Maybe we should con tinue this discussion by private eMail.

I would rather not do private e-mail. Let me just say this. As you have stated before, God gives us free will. I am steadfast in my belief about the subject, but if someone chooses not to agree, I can't force that upon them. We all answer for our actions before God. Myself included and I am very secure in my judgement. That should be enough. Sorry if that's not "Christian" enough for you, but as I said, I am ok with that.

No problem then! We can agree to disagree! Just let me ask you one question. If it came down to a vote weather or not to allow gay marriage, how would you vote?

when you are debating some who are athiests, ultra left wing liberals and hate Christianity and God.

You just don't get it. Come on Ron Cusano, way back when you started here you were so educational about the difference between atheists and agnostics. Don't you remember your own teachings? Atheists don't believe god exists. You can't hate something you don't believe exists. You can't hate basket weaving abominations with celerey where their hand should be, and Patrick Duffy for a leg. Because they don't exist. So let's see... you're still going to be right somehow. But I'm curious to see how. How is it that people who do not believe god exists, also hate god, that doesn't exist?

a lot of the references used on this thread come for very Liberal left-wing nuts that don't have an unbiased viewpoint either.
So now we're nuts? Oh, no, you're not biased or judgemental, you're just stating your opinion, right? And no, I'm not claiming you siad "you're not biased or judgemental, you're just stating your opinion, right?" But I think the idea is there.

How is it we're nuts, and you aren't?

This may the the chicken way out, but I would probably abstain from the vote. I don't condone it, but its not my job to condemn it either.

IMO, nothing chicken about that. It's admirable, and a demonstration of sticking up for your beliefs!

Your nit-picking is so childish it make for a good laugh! So let's just say "hate's Christians and what they believe"! Does that make you feel better??

Because from my perspective, your ultra-liberal beliefs are out in left field! I believe that most the ultra-liberal ideals and principalsa are wayyyyyy out there! Yeah, nuts is a good word!

I'm not suprised! That is exactly the type of compromising the faith I was talking about. And of course, your athiest, liberal friends here will agree with your choice!

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

Life as a big person had limited my life to what I knew I could manage to do each day. That was eat. I hadn't anything else to look forward to. So my eating choices were the best I could dream up. I planned the cooking in managable lots in my head and filled my day with and around it.

Now I have a whole new big, bigger, biggest, best days ever. I am out there with those skinny people doing stuff i could never have dreamt of. Food is now an after thought. It doesn't consume my day. I still enjoy the good home cooked food but I eat smaller portions. I leave food on my plate when I am full. I can no longer hear my mother's voice saying eat it all up, ther are starving children in Africa who would want that!

I still cook for family feasts, I love cooking. I still do holidays but I have changed from the All inclusive drinking and eating everything everyday kind to Self catering accommodation. This gives me the choice of cooking or eating out as I choose. I rarely drink anymore as I usually travel alone now and I feel I need to keep aware of my surroundings.

I don't know at what point my life expanded, was it when I lost 100 pounds? Was it when I left my walking stick at home ? Was it when I said yes to an outing instead of finding an excuse to stay home ? i look back at my last five years and wonder how loosing weight has made such a difference. Be ready to amaze yourself.

BTW, the liquid diet sucks, one more day and you are over the worst. You can do it.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
