Question for June sleevers

Recommended Posts

I know everyone is different, but just curious where all of the June sleevers are at in regards to their weight loss. How much have you lost so far, what was your starting weight, and how many calories are you eating each day?

My starting weight was 251 before preop diet, 241 day of surgery. Today I am 202 but seem to be stuck. I am 2 1/2 months out. Just curious about everyone else.

I was sleeved on 5/23, so I am almost a "June" sleever. I have lost 57 pounds so far. I started at 318, and was 299 on the day of surgery. I am eating between 900 and 1100 calories per day. I have had a consistent 2 pound per week weight loss once I got past the week 3/4 stall. I am not losing as fast as some on here, but I also have an ankle issue that makes exercise impossible. I'm happy with my weight loss so far. You seem like you are doing well, how long have you been at the same weight?

Hi there, I was sleeved June 6th. My weight was 259 when I started the preop. 245 day of surgery. I am 206 today. So 53 pounds down since 5/23. It has been slow and I have had a few stalls and then I will drop a pound or so each day. It feels slow. I am walking quite abit. and doing some strength exercises twice a week at home with bands. My calories probably average 900. I am getting at least 60 grams of Protein and I try and drink a lot of Water. dinner is my hardest time. I try to eat what my family is having and I have to really watch my portions. I can get so full. Protein first.

I was sleeved June 27th. Started liquid diet at 284. Date of surgery, weight was 265. Today at 11 weeks out, I'm 236. I feel like this is slow. I'm losing again now after a 5-week stall...but if you do the math, I've lost 2.6 pounds a week since my surgery and I'm happy with those numbers. Total pounds lost 48...29 pounds since surgery. I average between 800 - 1100 calories a day, 60-90 grams of Protein. I still drink about 30 - 60 grams of protein though. I'll admit, I eat a lot of fruit and veggies too. My co-worker who was sleeved 9 months ago said I'm not supposed to be eating fruit yet. That's not true is it? My doc said I could eat fruit at 6 weeks out.

I was sleeved June 18, so I'm post op week 12. The day of surgery I was 365, this morning I weighed in at 285. I consume about 600-800 calories daily and I exercise about 5 times a week to Hip Hop Abs or Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds.

I was sleeved on June 11th. Starting weight was 329 with 1 week per liquid diet. Went in to surgery weighing 319. Now 13 weeks post op I weigh 258. I maybe get 300-400 calories a day in. I can't do Protein Shakes cause they make me sick but I'm loving my sleeve. 3 weeks ago I never thought I'd say that. It does get better.

Surgery date was June 13th. Highest weight 259, pre-surgery weight 221, surgery weight 206, current weight 172. I lose in hormone cycles. premenstrual for 10 days and during my period and then I stop for 2 weeks, this has been the same for 3 months. I'm now at a lower weight than I was in grad 10 so anything from now on is gravy! I eat between 600-1100 per day. 60-90 grams of Protein, and just started exercise this week.

Sleeved June 3rd starting weight 280 current weight 209. 71lbs:) 460 was my highest calorie intake and i was eating all day long and was not drinking enough and am dehydrated all the time and I have been quite sick since surgery in and out of the ER for kidney stones twice and once for potassium being way to low I was in the hospital for a week for c-diff(a colon disease) which I assume I picked up from the ER... And this morning I had my gallbladder removed... Hoping I'm on the mend and can start exercising!!! I'm going back to the basics liquids for a week bc of the surgery and going to do Protein Shakes again(if I can tolerate).

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
