HE:248

First Dr.appt:236

Surgery date: 219.8

CW:199.6

Sleeved 8/12

Eating 3 meals a day, maybe a small snack (edamame) and sometimes struggling with Water, but mostly I can get in 2 liters.

I have learned that a variety of stuffed chicken is my friend, lol.

I had a three week period when I gained and lost the same 3lbs. I think it was related to 1. The fact that I have the female cycling hormones 2. I think I was getting too much Protein.

This worries me a little because I am almost to that point of my cycle again.

I was getting almost 100gm of Protein with meals and shakes. Now, no more shakes and I see good movement on the scale.

I had the same issue for three weeks. Mine was the opposite problem though. I was only able to keep 8-15 grams of protein down a day and 16-24ounces of Water. But it was during my Cycle as well.

Surgery date: 8/21 Doing ok. Lost about 28 pounds so far. weighed in on monday and again this morning, still at 242. I really hope im not about to hit this dreaded stall i keep reading about!

Did really well first few weeks out.....now not so much. Not having any real problems getting anything down. The 'you're full stop eating' sensor still works but my weight loss has really slowed. Didnt notice it until i stepped on the scale. Trying not to worry about it to much  I'll focus more on the NSV.

I thought I had gas too and it ended up being a clot between my stomach and liver. If the pain doesn't stop, please see your surgeon! A CT scan quickly found my clot.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
