I can't wait to try real food- my appointment is Wednesday so I should be able to advance to puréed/soft foods after that!

I pray your right..I had to force myself not to cry yesterday...getting the smallest sip not to churn like poison is hard. I immediately get nauseas and dry heave. Any rating suggestions? Oh and Jello and crystal light are just too sweet,..do nasty to me now, so glad I only have 6 more days of full liquids then I can try puréed.

MsK, so sorry you are having a tough time. I believe we were sleeved same day. I have been blessed thus far with no issues. Can drink Water and Protein Shakes, broths. I am ready for the next phase but that wont be for another 3 weeks. The only issue which is no issue at all is I tire easily!

I hope things get much better for you very soon!

Thanks ..and I'm glad you're doing so well, today is starting out much better, already had some Decaf tea with lemon..and about 2tbsp of Greek yogurt with my Med's..I'm so happy just for that right now. I am also grateful that I'm going to the bathroom regularly... I was so afraid I'd be constipated like some ppl..but nope. My surgery was long about 5.5 hours because of mass removal behind my intestine..so I'm coughing and that bikini incision from that hurts..still have staples :-( but I'm so happy I have you guys..it's comforting.

So jealous. I'm not allowed to weight train per my postop instructions until 6 months out! Only walking 60-90 minutes every day and add abdominal exercises at 2 months. It seems like a long time to wait to lift weights right?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
