I was so gonna do the same thing this morning. My brush was filled. Luckily I have/had tons of hair so I can't see the loss on my head, just on the brush.

I have the same concern!!! My hair is so thin on top. I'm thinking of trying minoxidil. I was hoping that with Biotin will help a little..... :(

Sorry molls... :(

I know it's hard I was losing a ton for a while there too. Go to the beauty supply and buy some toppic or other other brand of hair fibers they will at least make it look fuller until it starts coming back again.

Or Xfusion

I lost all my long beautiful blond hair...I loved my hair..when I came home I saw it for the first time..Everyone at the hospital kept the evidence away from me....See me now....short brown hair......Biotin and Protein is the answer..Water too as your body will use it for your weak points......

Two differences in the new hair....Less gray...don't know why and wavy ...what up with that!!!!!

Me too! I had my surgery 3 days after you. The last few days I've noticed a lot more hair coming out in the shower (we have one of those net things so it doesn't go down the drain) and then when I put my mousse in my hair and use my fingers to comb it through. I have a hair appt next Wednesday so I'll be interested in what my hairdresser has to say!

I was expecting really dry hair as that's what people told me was gonna happen, I'm only 10 days out and my hair is still as oily as it was before.. How long did it take for hair to fall out like that? I started using ovation cell therapy the week before surgery and have been using it since. Not sure if that's what's helping or not.

I haven't had the surgery yet, but have been a natural shedder my entire life. Biosil capsules have helped my hair (and my nails) tremendously!

No joke... That's what my brush looked like everyday (except blonde). It gets better though

Question for anyone, how did you get your mind right before surgery? Like as far as eating better foods and just doing better in general? I'm having a really hard time with this. Any help is appreciated 🙏❤️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
