I can't imagine drinking 64 oz of anything in a day, so far...but maybe it will get better in time. I can't imagine getting 70 gram of Protein so far, either. Those are my dr's guidelines...and I just feel too much discomfort still to take in that much.

Apologies to the OP for a sidetrack to the topic, but I wanted to respond to this. ^

One way to get in the Protein is to find a Protein shake that you like. I've posted elsewhere about this, but I had to try a few brands to find what I liked. One thing I DIDN'T like was a Protein Shake made in a blender. It was way too frothy and full of air. Ick. I found that I like the Syntrax nectar chocolate Truffle, strawberry Mousse, and vanilla Bean flavors. I would make one of those shakes with light soy milk in a Blender Bottle - so it was basically flavored milk, not something thick, to drink. That's an easy 29 grams of protein. Another way I was able to get protein in is to make sugar free/fat free pudding and add two scoops of Protein powder (Syntrax Nectar). 1 cup would equal 31 grams of protein. And then finding a Protein Bar that you like also helps. I didn't try the yummy Quest bars until about month 7, but there's another 21 grams of protein. (Eat half now, half later if you aren't hungry.)

My morning protein shake that I have for Breakfast is 1 scoop Syntrax Nectar, 1 scoop Big Train Fit Frappe Mocha Protein Powder, 8 ounces of light soy milk for 40 grams of protein. I can "stomach" a protein shake made in a blender now, so I may toss in a frozen sliced banana or some frozen strawberries. If my lunch is a little protein light, I may have a Quest bar around 3 pm. I personally have a hard time EATING all of my protein in real food. I just can't eat that much food. I DO shoot for a minimum of 85 grams of protein.

As to the Water intake, I have a hard time getting in 64 ounces. I need to work on this myself. Thank goodness we can count the Fluid in the Protein Shakes, etc.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
