How was your 5:2 day today?

My biggest dilemma is that I have to take medicine in the morning. I don't want to eat until around 11 am because I like to have a late night snack of 100 calorie pack of cocoa dusted almonds. I've been putting off taking my medicine but the one I can't put off is an anti biotic.

I guess I can share this ,lol. I have to take an antibiotic before have sex or I will get a UTI.I have to take it with food.

I guess half of a Greek Yogurt would be 50 calories. I need to look up string cheese and baby bell light.

How about you? Is the 5:2 plan working with your life? I also don't like working out with my trainer on an empty stomach.

Will this not work if you have 11 hours in between instead of 12? There must be some reason you have to have 12 hours off.

Thanks Cowgirl, it is Niebles actually. I remember hearing about that person that was kicked off and I seem to remember that she wasn't actually a real coordinator, just an obsessive fan who tried to

My brothers second wife had been married 5 times before him...and they had all died I couldn't help but wonder if she was a black widow! They split up, and she moved out of state... but he wooed her back again, and they are living together again. I don't think of her as a black widow now, but what that must have been like losing 5 husbands!

Hi ladies. Sarsar I have my 3 take a portrait together every 5 years. They actually look forward to it. Its wonderful to look back on. The last one they were 20,25, and 30. Yep my crew are. 5 years apart. One day I will take a true family pic when I think I photograph thinner. I don't know why they ask for your weight on US drivers licence. They have your pic. I am sure everyone lies. CGJane the lift was my problem too. Is skiing something u think you will stick with for a winter sport? I remember liking the smell. It was freshh and clean. I am a city girl and fresh air and wide open space was something to be enjoyed. Haven't heard from M2 lately. U out there? Family had pizza yesterday. Sleeve only allows one slice. Hubby put away four slices almost half a pie. OMG! Sunday will be the last food related event for me. Its a tradition from hubby side. The last Sunday of the year his grandma would empty the fridge and cook everything. Not sure of the superstition behind that but it was. A tradition in their family. It has turned into a year end brunch blow out. Hubby cooks for it all breakfast and brunch items waffles, eggs, biscuits, gravey, bacon, u get the idea plus donuts, bagels, his friends bring other goodies. This year my contribution if fried apple fritters. Iths called the Feast of Saint Feed Your Fat face! It starts around 10 and last year the last person left at 4. My hubby is a black belt and runs a Karate school. He has zero family here in Cincy but this day all of his Karate buddies come over eat, tell stories, laugh and enjoy. I am glad he does this. He really enjoys it. I am busy helping him host so only nibbling. But it is an all day eating feast with these guys.actually I commented once on how sinful and glutinous this feast was. Hubby was offended. He compared it to Thanksgiving harvest and such. Its the few times in the year his martial arts buddies get together and not in competition. To me its a scene from a Viking movie. Hubby loves it! Once the feast is over I can get back to a normal eating pattern again. Well hang tight ladies we'll be back to normal soon

Good lord! I'd be afraid to go to sleep! LOL

Brown, laughing at the imagery in my head from "the Vikings!" Ha! Five years apart! I'm amazed. Don't think I would have had the third by that time! Ha! I wanted three and after my son (hyper) decided two was plenty! lol

I finally replied to Alexs invite to become a host, have not heard back from him, he probably had enough "hosts" but I decided after some thought I could commit to it...

If you ask me I think he needs more "super vet" hosts... I'll poke him to make sure he got your response. Ok major headache today.. I'm sure all the crappy eating and drinking this last week had something to do with it.. Detoxing is a b***h. I have a family party to go to today.. It was just thrown at me, it's at my crazy aunties house. I haven't seen these people in years so it should be fun. But I know there will be no good choices for me there so I'll pray for strength. And bring some yogurt..

EDIT!!!!!!!

I have been dreading weighing for three days now.. Because I have given in to holiday crap the last week :(

But I have weighed today, drumroll please.......

The same weight!!! 147!!!!

Hail to the 5:2!

It's funny I've been schlumping around in sweats feeling BIG BIG for several days knowing I've gained. Just got out if the shower and threw on my tightest skinny pants to feel good. :)

I've been feeling better today, just knowing all the holiday stuff is done. My daughter even helped me take down the tree, and I just put it up last Sunday. I just wanted it down and done with!

I ate terrible today, but didn't do too bad the rest of the week. I only did one fast day this week and will be back on track next week with my regular days. Still at my low weight, so all is well with that.

Laura, isn't it funny how you can "feel" so big and then step on the scale and "feel" skinny all of the sudden?

I went shopping Thursday and finally bought myself a pair of size 6 skinny jeans! The other ones were just too big and were starting to look ridiculous. Now I need to find a couple of other pairs. I hate, hate, hate jean shopping. It's so hard for me to find ones that fit nice. My hips/butt are much bigger than my tiny waist. The waist in almost all of my pants are too big where everything else fits fine.

Brown, I loved reading about the feast your hubby does! Fun for him and the guys. Now, does he do all of the cleaning up after the cooking or is that your job? :)

Georgia, a few days ago I remember reading about your son coming up on his 2 year sobriety anniversary. I think that is so wonderful for all of you. I pray that he will continue on the right path! What heartaches you must have went through with him. I have a friend I met a few years ago and we instantly became like sisters. She had drug problems in her past and I helped her get off of the drugs. Recently, she has started again, and my heart literally hurts. I don't know how to deal with all of it because I have never had someone close to me with these problems. It is a big reason I had a hard time this Christmas season. Her and her hubby were supposed to be with us again this year.

Hope everyone had a nice Saturday. I am thankful my family is all under one roof for a couple more days!

I started a thread in the veterans group. I thought is was only for those a year out or more, meaning that nobody under a year should create or comment there??? Maybe I'm wrong. I hope it doesn't start an uproar.
