Whats "in style"?

Recommended Posts

there is a company that came out with a label that goes over the labels that is soft and silky so you can save the "designer labels" or the care instructions. They have to come off before you wash but you just put another one on when you want to wear the top. Handy idea. I thi

nk the company is Hollywood fashion tape.

That's not a bad idea. Too much maintenance for me, I'd lose them before I had the chance to use them. I have so far as to use regular scotch tape to to hold the labels down. Once, in a pinch. :lost1.5lbs:

I HATE looking at muffin tops! All I can say is that fat teenage girls have a lot more confidence than any fat teenage girls that were around when I was a teen. When I was a teen, any fatness was draped with fabric. Twice.

Absolutely! If you aren't Paris Hilton's size, please don't try and wear her clothes.

Muffin tops are gross. Muffin tops with misplaced thongs are even worse. But the jeans belted around the thighs with the boxers hanging out give them a good run for their money.

YES! Leave your Buns in the oven....and your muffins, too.

It seems like the Audrey Heburn syle is coming back! I have a 19 year old step daughter who is very on top of hair and fashion. I guess Christina Aguillera is bringing it back. I love that time period. Audrey Hepburn was so elegant. Audree

there is an awsome website for those of you at goal or who can fit sizes less than a 22 i think. I can't wait to shope from this store. I love about 90% of what they have. It's so classy. totally me. a few pieces are a little too old lady for me, but most are perfect.

I wear and 18/20 and would not be comfortable in most of those clothes, as much as i love them. They go up to a u.k. size 22, not sure if it's the same as u.s. sizes or not. but I don't think I would buy anything until i'm a 12 at the biggest.

Well I went thru my closet and pulled out everything that was more than 3 years old, that I bought on sale, that had some issues with, or never wore. That left me with 3 bags full of stuff, and 6 outfits left.

Then I hit the clearance on lanebryant.com for pants. I am going to make vests, wear white shirts, and different solid color pants. That is me... I don't care if that is in style or not.

Good for you, Poodles. To thine own self be true.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
