Congratulations on your surgery! It will take a few days to bounce back, you are still healing. Check with your doctor on when to start your supplement. Stay on course, you'll do great!!

You're welcome! I'm two weeks post op today and I understand! I always look at my sheets to make sure I am on what I should be and, luckily, they have a list of Clear Liquids, full liquids, etc, which has helped me A LOT! Oh and sugar free popsicles as well! I got the twin pops in a clear bag from Wal-Mart and they are different flavors. Just to mix things up a bit!

I was sleeved 6/26 . I am able to drink /eat Protein Shakes, broth, water,Popsicle and Jello. I can get my suggested Protein from 2 shakes but it ins't enough calories. The other elective drinks don 't add many calories. Should I just drink 1 or 2 more shakes?sorry for the dumb question. I wasn't sure if that would be too much protein.I feel a little lost.

I don't think it will be too much, but it will help you down the line when you need to meet that protein because you know you can do it. I only do 2 4oz shakes right now, which for mine equals 200 calories and 46g protein, but am going to up them tomorrow. I also am not getting too many calories, but I start mushy foods tomorrow, so yay! :D

Maybe try a small bite and see. If you don't try, you'll never know! I'm sure you'll be okay if you are getting your liquids and Protein in.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
