I was sleeved Wednesday and in one day I lost 4lbs!

I'm in pre-op awaiting my surgery. I'm third in line; the first is done, second has been started. Can't wait to be in recovery!

How many does this guy do a day lol i was first when i did it

I had my surgery yesterday. All went well. It only took about an hour, which surprised me. I spent the night in ICU and I'm now finally in my own room. Already drinking water and did my first leak test. The pain isn't horrible so far. I hope all the other 8/29 sleeves are doing well too.

Surgery 8/28 was a success! Came home last night and I still have quite a bit of gas still but I'm doing fine! Doctor said it was ok to take Gas X so I'm hoping that it will help get rid of the rest of the gas along with my walking.

Glad to hear you're doing well. It's normal not to have a BM for the first week' date=' apparently, prob bc we have nearly nothing going through. Make sure you're walking enough, the cramps might be some residual gas. Congrats on being sleeved![/quote']

Thanks! This morning the milk of magnesia kicked in full force! Lol. I've been walking plenty but the scale isn't really moving much :(.

Hey sleeve sis! Glad you're doing ok! I too have not been hungry at all which I'm grateful for. My gas pains are pretty much gone. My abdominal wall on the left side (where they pulled my old stomach out of) is really sore. I actually wish I wasn't having BM's. I've had the runs since Wednesday. :( Its not the most comfortable thing because wiping is quite difficult because I'm so sore. Sorry for the TMI. Good luck! I can't wait to feel normal too!

Glad you're doing well! I'm still having a lot of gas pain but I finally had a bowel movement and I totally understand how hard it is to wipe! I have to stand up and do it. My really sore incision is on the right side. I can't wait to see how I feel 1 week post op!

I know that I have missed a few sleevers.. But I hope that you all had smooth surgeries and are having speedy recoveries!!

I am 15 days out and I am still really sore. I can't bend over at all.

Thank you!

Well I was sleeved on the 29th.....still in the hospital and he wants me to stay until Monday.....apparantely I had a whole heck of a lot of scar tissue where my band had been removed.....so he said the nausea would be bad......it was bad same night as surgery but it's pretty much gone now.......hope all my 29th crew did well

I was sleeved Weds 8/28 morning was supposed to have gone home Friday but my white count was up! Dr said it always goes up with surgery but 2 days after it should have gone down and mine actually went up....so make sure you use your incentive spirometer and open your lungs back up! She told me she didn't care if it hurt I HAD to do it or I WILL end up with pneumonia...I puffed on that thing like a mad woman yesterday!! ????

Hey all. So I got sleeved aug. 21st and wanted to make a quick post to see if you August sleeves were going through the same experiences as I or if anyone can relate. So, as of today it's been 11 days since my surgery. My stomach is still pretty bloated and swollen, like its bigger than when I went into surgery. I have lost about ten pounds already but it doesn't seem like my stomach is going down. I can't eat ANYTHING. Everything pretty much hurts. Some days it hurts to even drink water. I have a lot of chest pain and I can't even get mushy food down. I'm pretty much not eating **** and you would think being on a liquid diet for eleven days I would lose more than ten pounds right? Any experiences and advice welcomed! Thanks
