  1. I have them on and off. But when I eat mashed potatoes that seems to help. Hope that helps!
  2. Yeah shakes are starting to make me sick to my stomach. I am so over them.
  3. Yes I'm numb there as well. It's beginning to lessen some but at first I could pinch it and not even feel it.
  4. We just have to stick with it! I'm sure it'll come off!
  5. I agree Dee. I know I've lost a nice amount but I expected to lose more. When you hear of people losing 30 lbs in 2 weeks and you only lose half of that its kind of a bummer.
  6. That's exactly how much I've lost too! Keep me posted!
  7. I had mine on the 26th! Almost feeling back to normal!
  8. Sure do! I have yet to get in all of my protein or water! The first week I thought I would never want to eat again. But this second week has proven otherwise lol. I have visions of all my fav foods dancing in my head
  9. This is week 2 of post op and I feel like I'm starving! Plus all of my old food cravings are returning! How did you guys get through this phase?!
  10. Congrats!! That is so exciting!
  11. Idk yet. I would like to see what weight I think looks best on me. I've been overweight since I was a child so I'm sure this skin has been stretched for too long to ever look good lol. At surgery I was 263 (8/26), when I got home from the hospital I was 265, and now I'm 256.
  12. Good idea! And thanks so much!
  13. Sleeve sister! I didn't have one but there was talk if me having to get one. But I was up and moving not long after my procedure.
  14. That's what I was afraid of! I'm 7 days post op so the skin isn't an issue yet. But I was looking forward to not being as self conscious because of the weight loss but I know if I have gross skin hanging I'll be just as self conscious! Oh well! At least I'll look great with clothes on! Lol
  15. Has sagging skin been an issue for anyone? Like made you more self conscious?
  16. I am having extreme dizziness today. Anyone else having this problem?
  17. Hey just wanted to update everyone. I am 6 days post op and today is the best I've felt since surgery. I have lost 7 pounds from the day I came home from the hospital (the 28th). I've been taking Gas X and pain meds as needed and no nausea meds. I haven't had any issues getting food down...liquids cause a lot if grumbling and belching but nothing I can't deal with. I ate mashed potatoes for the first time yesterday and I had my first real BM (meaning no medicine to help and it wasn't liquidy sorry if TMI!). Still hoping my weight loss kicks in to hard drive...but until then steady she goes! Hope everyone is doing well!
  18. Glad you're doing well! I'm still having a lot of gas pain but I finally had a bowel movement and I totally understand how hard it is to wipe! I have to stand up and do it. My really sore incision is on the right side. I can't wait to see how I feel 1 week post op!
  19. Hey guys! I'm 4 days post op and doing ok. For the most part I am fine...but I get really bad stomach cramps when I eat or drink. But I've found that if I take my pain meds before eating the cramp aren't so bad. I also have not had a bowel movement since the morning of my surgery. I just took some milk of magnesia so hopefully that helps. I haven't had any hunger at all so I have to make myself eat and drink. I can't wait to start feeling normal again!
