  1. Hey everyone! Just wanted to give you all am update. I was sleeved yesterday morning and I'm so happy to be on the losers bench! Last night was very hard because of the gas pain and bloating. I couldn't get comfortable at all. But today I feel much better. I'm able to keep down my liquids and meals so far. They are still waiting for me to pass gas though.
  2. Thanks for the advice about the game guys. I got my ticket! I check in at 6am tomorrow. I'm a little nervous but mostly just ready to get it over with and start losing! Prayers to all my fellow August 26 sleevers!
  3. [quote name="holidayexpressions] I think the question is' date=' how do you feel 3 weeks out? If your not up for it don't go. I was walking on the beach two days after my surgery in Mexico. I'm 8 days out now and wanna go to work because I'm going crazy just sitting around the house. I don't feel any restrictions myself.[/quote'] Thank you! I kinda figured it varies from person to person. Just wanted to know generally how people feel at 3 weeks. I hope I'm as lucky as you!
  4. I have a question for the sleevers who are 3 weeks out or more. I really want to go to a football game but its only 3 weeks after my sleeve date. Do you guys think I'll be ok to go? How did you feel at 3 weeks?
  5. Congrats! The 26th seemed super far at first but this time next week I'll be sleeved! Just use the time to get everything ready and it'll fly by!
  6. Congrats! I hope everything continues to go well for you!
  7. Happy Birthday! Hope your day gets better!
  8. Thankfully I don't have to do the all liquid diet. I have to do 2 protein shakes and 2 low carb meals a day. No white breads or refined sugars. It's hard but i know it's nowhere near as hard as all liquids! Keep pushing! We're almost there!
  9. Sleeve sisters! 1 more week!
  10. I completed my pre-op testing today and everything was good! I'm so glad to see the August sleevers doing so well! You've all been in my prayers. August 26th seems so far away and yet so close!
  11. Stay strong! You are kinda like my motivation right now lol. Your surgery seemed to I so well! I really pray mine goes as smoothly!
  12. That's my date too! Sleeve sisters!
  13. August is right around the corner guys! I pray everyone's strength and good health in the coming months. Please keep us posted on your progress. August 1st sleevers you're up first!!
  14. I know! I'm so anxious to get it over with! We'll have to keep in touch!
  15. That's my sleeve date too! Just scheduled it today!
  16. Congrats! I got my approval today and I'm super excited and nervous at the same time!
  17. I had been going back and forth between lap band and the sleeve until I found this forum. I truly believe this is the best option for me. I go I my first dietician appointment next Wednesday and I am so excited! Especially now that I know there are people here going through the same thing! Good luck!
  18. Congrats you look great! I was/am very scared about having the surgery but your testimony just removed all doubt! I can't wait to get sleeved!
  19. I am in the same boat! I just started the process and have to start my 3 month supervised diet next week. My mom doesn't want me to get it and I'm super nervous of any complications. But I just keep reminding myself that if I stay at my current weight I will suffer more severe health issues. Keep us posted Dynamitetee!
