I was sleeved 8/28 and I am thinking I want some variety while making sure I meet protein goals once I start eating.... So I'm leaning toward purchasing the Isopure no carb unflavored protein powder, has anyone tried it? I like the flavored ready to drink Isopure but I'm iffy about unflavored powder. Any suggestions?
I sleep at an incline, I have about 4 pillows that prop me up so that it's not too painful laying down or getting up. I'm now 5 days post op and find it much easier getting in and out of bed. Also have you tried drinking Powerade zero, I drink 16oz plain water and 16oz powerade. Hope that helps!
I was told to get isopure since I had bad nausea with the new direction puddings, but my hubby says GNC did not have the zero carb one I was given in the hospital. I'm 5 days post op, can I have this one?
Thats what I was given, but after I take it I start to feel crappy. Nausea started last night out of nowhere and went away after about an hr but this morning it's lasted longer and I can't even eat my breakfast
I am having a bit of lightheadedness and nausea, took my meds when I woke up but I'm so nauseas that I can't even eat my pudding. Is this happening to anyone else?
Surgery 8/28 was a success! Came home last night and I still have quite a bit of gas still but I'm doing fine! Doctor said it was ok to take Gas X so I'm hoping that it will help get rid of the rest of the gas along with my walking.
