Everyone's different but I feel great! You should be fine! I was sleeved aug 1st

I was sleeved Aug 7 - you should go to the game! Enjoy.

Well surgery was 25 days ago today! Wow already....I tried to eat a little price of hamburger dipped in ketchup today....a few cheese puffs....and watermelon....everything was great even though I knew maybe u shouldn't be eating this already! But it was a BBQ so I figured a quarter size amount would not kill me! Big mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was SO sick alllllllll day! Not ready for this yet I don't think! But close!

I was sleeved 11 days ago and everything so far goes down great. Haven't really tried much though. All liquids go down good. Yogurt is good. Has gnocchi soup yesterday at Olive Garden for lunch and the left overs for supper. All good. Kids made homemade corn dogs and Mac and cheese for lunch. Took two nibbles of the cornbread breaking and tasted a noodle to make sure it was done. I defiantly fill a heaviness in my tummy even though it was two tiny nibbles but I feel ok. So far so good. And down 28lbs in 11 days post op!

Thanks for the advice about the game guys. I got my ticket! I check in at 6am tomorrow. I'm a little nervous but mostly just ready to get it over with and start losing! Prayers to all my fellow August 26 sleevers!

I'm so nervous. I check in at 7:30. I'm so ready to be sleeved and start losing.

me too I'm down 12 was sleeved On 20 I'm doing great until I eat but tht feeling too shall pass I hope we continue doing great

Sleeved on the 20th. Finally lost my first post-op pound yesterday after gaining 10lbs of fluids in the hospital! Now I'm 224.4, from 250 on July 12th when I started my pre-op dieting. It does feel pretty good to be getting back down there!

I'm able to keep my liquids down, but drinking them in the first place isn't too fun. :\ I know I'm not drinking as much water as I should be, but I'm doing okay on my protein shakes. The worst part so far has been the incredible exhaustion and sadness. It just comes on instantly out of nowhere and I have to take a nap wherever I end up sitting down. I guess I've been lucky so far though. No pain or nausea. Really looking forward to getting these itchy staples out and progressing on to some mushy foods!

What hospital. I had it in lutheran

Day 8 post-op update, band to sleeve revision on 8/19. Feeling better every day. The first 5 days were so hard. I knew they would be hard, but it was so much worse than I anticipated. Not at all like my band surgery, more like my bad c-section 13 years ago. One thing I had not expected was the anxiety, I was terrified the whole first week that I was going to have a bad complication and have to go back into the hospital for months. Surgery was Monday, Friday afternoon I turned a corner and started feeling better. Now every day is noticeably better, drinking more, walking further and easier, moving better, less pain and less anxiety. I finally have some hope for the future!

Keeping all my fellow August sleeve buddies in my thoughts and prayers for successfull surgeries and recoveries!
