  1. Haven't been here in a while. Had sleeve on August 14th. Haven't weighed in a few days but am down around a total of 110lbs. Loving it. Pictures to follow as soon as I figure out how!
  2. I haven't had an issue with good since I started eating until this week. Twice I had to throw up. I'm guessing I either ate too much or too fast. The last few days I haven't been hungry at all. I didn't eat today until 4pm then had a few bites tonight of jello. The hunger comes and goes.
  3. Are y'all getting on the scale everyday? If so why??? If your on a stall take the batteries out of the scale and throw them across the street. If you keep seeing that stall every morning when you step up on the scale it's going to keep you discouraged. I weighed Sunday for the first time in two week. Keep off the scale!
  4. I'm 30 days post op and finally broke down today and bought some clothes. I was amazed!!! Went from a 44 waist to a 38 in a month. I'm so happy with myself and wish I would if done this years ago.
  5. I hate artificial sweeteners. I had a rough time getting my fluids in early. I broke down and drank Gatorade. It was either drink Gatorade or nothing.
  6. I was sleeved on the 15th and have nothing but great things. Not once have I got sick from a food. Im onto eating whatever i want now but i dont. Ive had a teaspoon of frozen yogurt here or there or a nibble of mac and cheese but food doesnt taste near as good as it use to. And there is no way in hell i can eat 6 times a day. I ate 3 times today and twice yesterday. Im just not hungry. There has been a couple days where I felt I wasn't drinking anything at all but seems to of worked out ok. I start back tomorrow and I'm so ready. I thought a month off was going to be great! Not so much, I'm so bored! Down 40lbs so excited about that.
  7. I still have trouble eating and I'm a month out. I'm just not really hungry. Food doesn't seem to be as good as it once was. I had some mashed potatoes today for lunch and some tuna for supper. I have no idea how anyone eats 6 times a day like we are suppose to. Sometimes I can sneak in a jello with fruit or a sugar free Popsicle but not very often. I had the smell of food really get to me a few days ago. Gf's kids had some whataburger and omg it was smelling good. So far everything I have put in my mouth has stayed down. Nothing has made me sick. I actually haven't been sick since I left the hospital. Hang in there
  8. This is true!!!! Gf came over last night and she said DAMN! Ready for the next 40lbs down for sure.
  9. I thought this myself too but who ever it is was also posting replies to other threads so I'm not sure it's the same person.
  10. I'm pre op 18 days and get it just as much now as I did before. On #4 since Friday. I'm not sure it could get any more frequent, but hopefully the stamina and that extra inch or two these guys are talking about heads my way soon!
  11. I just hit a stall also. I'm at day 14 post op. didn't expect to hit it this soon but it is what it is. I had planned on weighing myself everyday until I hit a stall then go to once a week. Hadn't weighted in 3 days because the batteries went dead in the scale. Weighed this morning and no change from 3 days ago. Damnit! But can't complain with 32lbs loss already
  12. I read on here the other day a couple of the sleepers sneeze when they are full. Guess we all have our little signs.
  13. I had the same issues. I had the head hunger until i was finally able to chew in something. I was sleeved on the 15th of August. I weighted 3 days before my surgery and am down a total of 33lbs since the 12th of August. It does get better.
  14. Your going to feel hungry until you are off the liquids stage. Once you start actually eating your food instead of drinking it gets much better. You actually have to force yourself to eat. I was sleeved on the 15th and feel great. Incisions no longer hurt, I'm no longer hungry, and I'm losing weights by 2-3 lbs a day. It will get better.
  15. I was sleeved 11 days ago and everything so far goes down great. Haven't really tried much though. All liquids go down good. Yogurt is good. Has gnocchi soup yesterday at Olive Garden for lunch and the left overs for supper. All good. Kids made homemade corn dogs and Mac and cheese for lunch. Took two nibbles of the cornbread breaking and tasted a noodle to make sure it was done. I defiantly fill a heaviness in my tummy even though it was two tiny nibbles but I feel ok. So far so good. And down 28lbs in 11 days post op!
  16. I am off work a month. I am finally eating some puréed foods and my hunger is gone. The liquid was just doing nothing for me. Finally feel better and everything is going down great. Just in very small quantities.
  17. Broke down yesterday. Had a protein shake around lunch then had some refried beans with sour cream at supper. OMG best beans I'd ever had in my life. Took a very small bite then waited 10 minutes to make sure they didn't bother me. Went down great. Sure cured my taste buds from the lack of a savory food being there.
  18. I think the question is, how do you feel 3 weeks out? If your not up for it don't go. I was walking on the beach two days after my surgery in Mexico. I'm 8 days out now and wanna go to work because I'm going crazy just sitting around the house. I don't feel any restrictions myself.
  19. I am ready for this stuff but still a couple days out. I don't think I'm gonna make it. The mornings and afternoons aren't bad, it's the evenings. I really get hungry. I've been having nothing but broth, sugar free Popsicles, and Water. I'm don't with broth. I'm just about done with Popsicles. Going to a Mexican restaurant tonight with some friends I really wish I could have some refried beans!
  20. I'm having the same issue. I am 7 days post op and down 23 lbs. I am dying for a change. I only have 3 more days before I move to the next step but damn these days are dragging. Went and bought some pudding and yogurt today to prepare for the next stage. I'm not sure if I'm gonna make it 3 more days. I'm so sick of broth I want to vomit!
  21. Sleeved on Thursday and damn I'm hungry. So tired of broth already. This goes away right?
  22. I was sleeved on 8/15 at 8:00am. As soon as I woke up from surgery I was in pain. It was by far the worst pain I've ever had from the gas. I had the horrible pain for about 14 hours. I could drink anything until the next day at 2pm. I git no sleep in the hospital. I am out and at the hotel until I fly home tomorrow. I feel great today. Ate some yummy broth and did some shopping in Tijuana. Feeling pretty good. It's a rough start but gets so much better.
