  1. I'm down 36lbs since surgery on 8/15
  2. I lost 30lbs in my first 14 days and stalled until this past Wednesday (2wks). And I go to the gym everyday and swim everyday. Needless to say, I was about ready to break the scale....lol. now I am down another 2lbs. So 32 altogether.
  3. For some reason I'm scared to sleep on my stomach. Were you scared the first time you did?
  4. Is anyone a stomach sleeper? If so are you back to sleeping on your stomach and if so how long did it take you to be able to sleep on your stomach
  5. It took me 4wks to feel 100% and be able to go back to the gym.
  6. Yeah. I lost 30lbs in 14days. It was ruff but I'm doing a lot better now.
  7. I had the runs 3x a day for the first 2wks. Then constipation for 10day after being switched to stage 3. Now I am pretty regular.
  8. I finally got back to the gym today. I only did 20mins on the elliptical because I didn't know how my body would react and I didn't want to over do it. It felt good. Then I did 20laps in the pool. I am really amazed at how much more energy I have. Normally after I get home from dropping my kids off at school I go back to sleep cause I'm so tired but lately I'm wide awake.
  9. Thanks I will try that. My RN suggested the tea smooth move so I'm going to try that tonight.
  10. Has anyone had a really hard first 2-3wks. I have been so miserable. The first 2wks I had the runs 3x a day. Then since my doc switched me to stage 3 I haven't had a BM in 8 days. My doc doesn't want me to take anything right now but I'm so uncomfortable. I did take gasx but it doesn't seem to be helping.
  11. Has anyone ever heard of someone getting a hernia after having the sleeve. I think that a week after surgery I may have gotten a hernia after using the bathroom.... sorry if TMI.
  12. I am 15 days out and I am still really sore. I can't bend over at all.
  13. I am 14days post op and down 30lbs
  14. I am 14 days out and I have had a horrible 2wks. Whenever I ate or took a drink my stomach would cramp. I could drink my Protein Drink cause it was making me sick and I have had the hardest time getting in my fluids. On top of that it has been non stop runs. I saw my surgeon yesterday and he has me starting to get Protein back in now (had been on liquids only the last 3 days). So far today I am doing OK and I am hoping it all stays good. You might want to try an anti nausea med. I have to take one every now and then so I can drink my Water without feeling sick.
  15. 2Wk check up today. Been having a lot of difficulty with everything. Have to stay on stage 2 for 2 more weeks. Ugh
  16. Should it be bleeding? It's not heavy bleeding but it is bleeding still
  17. This just happened to me today. I am 10 days out from surgery and one of my incisions opened up. My surgeon said to put a bandaid on it and it would heal on its own. The incision is like 2 inches wide and is like 1/2in deep. It kinda is freaking me out. I'm afraid if I wash it that it's going to hurt bad. Any suggestions?
  18. Lol......that's what I said. I'm not getting as much protein as I should be. Apparently my new smaller stomach does not like my protein drink anymore so I had to stop drinking it. I have been having a rough time. I just can't wait to move to stage 3 foods.
