Sleeved yesterday. Came home today. Right now I'm sick and sore, nothing seems to help. Hope everyone else is doing well.

Sorry your not felling well. When you say sick what do you mean can you explain what you are feeling.

Hi! I had my sleeve on the 23rd! I'm feeling pretty good! I feel like I'm on a roller coaster- I have high moments and crummy moments, but I just keep telling myself that this is the best decision I've ever made and it'll be worth it!

Thanks. I'm nauseated and occasional vomiting. I also had an allergic reaction to the pain meds and my skin is burning.

I'm so sorry to hear that! I'm hyper-sensitive to pain meds myself. I get really hot as well but I just try to focus and take deep breaths... I keep telling myself it'll get better :)

I had my surgery yesterday and did great but when I got back to my room my heart rate jumped to 150 and my blood pressure dropped to 90/60 they increased my liquids but it didn't help much so I was sent to surgery again! I had two leaks from what I hear and they were taken care of. Passed the swallow test earlier now I am waiting for the doctor to let me start drinking Water.< /p>

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
