I was stalled all of month 6...not one stinkin pound. I stayed on plan and joined a gym. Finally the scale started moving again. It's discouraging, but eventually they break and the weight continues to come off.

The frustration of a stall is very real. The best bet thing to do is to just review your habits. Try a food tracking app if you don't already. review the Water you are getting in, the sleep (sleep is really important). Get away from any of the foods we tend to let slip back in, the miscellaneous breads and grains - nutritionally they do almont nothing and provide no nutrients or Fiber that cannot be gained somewhere else.

People love to hear a calorie is a calorie, there for a pund is a pound. This is so very untrue. Just as anyone who has ever noticed the gas mileage in a car drop as it goes along, can relate to a calorie in vs. calorie out just is not how this works.

search the topics already in here, there are several with many good ideas. You will break your stall.

You are probably losing inches anyway, btw!!!

I feel I am in the same boat. Overlooking my diet. I just stopped eating. I know now were supposed to eat 6 times a day small. I still am not eating as well plus the Water intake and my Vitamin intake isn't consistent. I'm not sure if you have same issues???? I still have no energy. So tomorrow I am starting to log... it may help :) I think I'm just scared to eat it makes me uncomfortable still.....

I hear you. I'm not eating 6 small meals. More like 3 or 4. But I make sure to drink 1-2 Protein Shakes a day & take my Vitamins.

When I eat I get horrible reflux. It makes me not want to eat.

And like you, I have little energy or tire easily. It's hard for me to walk because I have a bad knee & neck, but I am doing arm toning with light weights.

Hi. Here's an update. I saw my Dr weeks ago & we discussed my stall. She said, get this, I WASN'T EATING ENOUGH. First time in my life I heard that. Anyway I did what she said and now I'm loosing regularly. I'm down 47 lbs since May. Went from size 20 to a 14. Dr said eat 6 times a day. The day I started that I started loosing. She also said no more shakes. Make your stomach work to digest the food, it's a muscle and it has to move. I have no problem getting my Protein with regular food and eat every 3 hrs.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
