Calorie count

my dietitian just advised me to focus on getting in Protein and liquid requirements and not worry about calorie count...she said I wouldn't be able to eat enough during the first several weeks to take in excessive calories..she was right...I am almost 5 weeks out and have been tracking my calories daily...the most I have taken in daily is about 700...I think the ongoing recommendation is around 800 daily

Awesome. I was targeting 800 but thought I was too high after reading some post. Tiger belle, may I ask what a daily menu looks like for you?

      April Surgery
      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
