ok. I have not posted in quite a while... I had surgery sept 28. Went from 227 to 194 by probly January.. Uhm, I still weigh between 189 and 194!!! BUT, My size 16 pants I bought at the early 194 are now kinda loose, and my top size is now a large in most clothes... I never made an exercise routine/habit, I eat whatever but ALOT less of it, and everyone says every week at church how I am melting away.. I haven't measured lately either.. But obviously, something is happening.. I am happy with how I look and feel, but am feeling the challenge to lose more so I need to make some adjustments. I had not been at this weight in a good 20-25 years so I am also wondering if my 25 year old fat is a wee bit stubborn. I am enjoying my new wardrobe, which is much smaller then my old wardrobe in size and quantity. So that all being said, be mindful of the some of the key points we were given to utilize our tool: don't drink before and after you eat (i ned to get back into that habit), don't drink soda (i do that, DP addict, non-recovered), Protein first, good carbs not crap carbs and exercise... I saw this post on pinterest about marking your water bottle with the time you should have that amount drank (drunk , whatever).. I am working on doing that but 6 ozs an hour may have been too steep for me to start. I suck at drinking Water. BUT, even if I do not lose another pound the rest of my life I am totally happy with my decision to get sleeved! I feel better, I look better and I know it is not over for me yet. I just have to find my formula and stick with it... I recommend measuring too.. I may try to measure this afternoon if i can find my last spreadsheet of measurements to compare...

Right there with you. I was sleeved in December. My weight loss slowed significantly over the past month. I stay the same for a while, then I go down a pound or two, get all excited and the next day I've gained it back. I need to exercise more for sure. I also need to drink more Water. I've struggled with that from the beginning. I'm trying to roll with it and not get too worked up over it. This isn't about who finishes first is what I keep telling myself. It is a lifetime of work we have on our plates ;)

Last week I finally lost a pound but it was mainly Water. Started back on my c25k program so hoping that kicks this stall into high gear.

On another sidenote I had my six month appointment yesterday for postop and never saw the doctor. I waited 2 1/2 hours in the waiting room until I finally went up and said if the doctor is running behind because of surgery complications I'll leave my paperwork and come back later. They assured me he was coming right over to see patients and they took me right back which then they promptly left me sitting for almost 45 minutes. I got mad and walked out and haven't heard from the doctors office yet! I think I'll be returning to my GP & let him monitor my progress from this point on!

I'm right there with everyone too! I was sleeved 11/15 and lost about 10 lbs per month consistently until now, I've been stalled for a month and I go up and down the same 2 lbs. I wasn't exercising much besides walking and had just started to up the anty and walked 40 miles in one week and lost NOTHING. Now I joined the gym 2 weeks ago, I'm taking classes and hired a personal trainer 2x per week and you know what? STILL NOTHING!! I"m so frustrated and I have lost 58 lbs but still have another 37 lbs to go to my goal weight (although the doctors don't want me to lose more than another 25-30 tops.. um NO)..but I'm afriad that I won't lose anymore.. Whenever I was on a diet I'd do fine until I started to exercise, then I'd stall and that was it.. I was never able to lose anymore and funny but I always stalled between 165-157 lbs and here I am at 162...stalled. I do have PCOS which doesn't help but still , I'm so frustrated. I don't eat a lot at all but get in what I need to Protein and Water wise most days. I just don't get it and certainly hope I'm not going to remain stuck here, I'm doing all I can to kick start it.

Still right where I was before.... I have stepped up exercise a bit but no changes In weight.

I changed up calories this week but haven't weighed yet so we will see. I feel like I lost a bit but I don't really count a loss until it sticks for more than a day..

I was sleeved 12/20 so it'll actually be 6 months post op tomorrow and boy have i stalled as well. Ive lost a total of 71 pounds since surgery and I have 40 more pounds to go. I am going to try the pouch test and hopefully boost my loss back up. I've been exercising every single day with no off days and eating pretty good for the most part aside from these crazy sugar cravings. Does anyone have any other tips to get things moving again?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
