Does your sleeve have a name?

Noticed some people's Sleeves have names.... Does yours and does it help to name them?

I gave my arthritis a name - Arthur - and it did help when it was bad to be able to complain to him personally :-)))))

  • I didn't name my sleeve but I named the part of the stomach that they cut out. I called him "fat bastard" and kicked him to the curb....

  • This thread reminds me of a friend of mine who named her GPS system's voice "Horace Vandergelder", after the cranky character from "Hello, Dolly". I think I might use that as a sleeve name, and talk

  • Naming your sleeve?? okay we are just getting way too into this.

You mean you haven't heard of "Sleevie Wonder" or "Sleevie Nicks" around the forums? <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Allow me to introduce you all to "Sleeve Perry".

Just sleeved yesterday so now I get to join in on all the fun! My sleeve is named Scarlett O'Sleevie!

Mine is Mikey (like the little kid on the old Life cereal commercial... "He likes it! Hey Mikey!")

My sleeve is named georgette, she is very refined. When someone offers me something to eat, I say " georgette does not like that" or "georgette prefers water".

Mine is called Siobhan. She's a very good girl except she won't let me have enough fibre to poop. I imagine her as a very slim, freckly, pale skinned, brunette who never overeats and wears cute, fashionable clothes. Lol.
