I'm Liz and I'm the one that sucks, lol.

My bad! Lol! Yes, it's tough, but I think you're doing a great job. Some people don't even have a pre-op diet and they come out fine. I'm not saying not to follow your doctor's instructions or to br carefree, I'm just saying that I agree with you...you're being a little to hard on yourself. Acknowledge the mistake, get back on and continue. If you fall off again, correct it again. You're going to be fine!

sorry about the liquid diet. I didnt have to do one after I lost 20lbs before hand. The doctor just said no liquid diet and told me to eat whatever I want before 10pm the day before surgery. That moring I want to IHOP had all you can eat pancakes. then that night I had pizza and hot wings.

After surgery I followed everything to a T. in 4 months I lost 85lbs a total of 105lbs. So just because you cheat doesnt mean anyhting in my eyes.

Don't beat yourself up. My surgery is on the 27th and I haven't followed my liquid diet one day yet. I end up eating an egg or some chicken. Or a whole avocado like last night. Some Dr;s don;t have a 2 week pre op diet, someone told me today that she had to eat yogurt and drink Water for 3 days before the surgery and that was it.

At sticking to this pre-op diet. I'm seriously losing my mind over here. It's not necessarily the diet but it's all this **** I'm having to deal with right now on top of the diet (personal life issues' date=' preparing for surgery, paying bills before surgery, etc.) I just keep cheating and feeling horrible, cheating and feeling horrible. I don't understand why I can't just stick to it! I crack under pressure a lot and the stress I'm having to deal with is really getting to me. Oh not to mention I'm PMSing. My boyfriend hates me right now, I've been such a b***h! I just want this surgery to be over with but then at the same time I'm having second thoughts. I'm worried I'm gonna be one of those people that just constantly pushes the limit on food. Ugh I shouldn't even be thinking like this. I DON'T want to be like this. I just have no willpower and it just makes me depressed. Honestly I don't care if I'm fat, I've never had a problem with how I look. I'm getting this surgery for my health. I feel like I should mean more to me and I should take this diet more seriously but yet I just ate fried rice on Sunday. I feel pathetic right now :/

Jeez that was long and I could just keep going! So many thoughts running through my head, May 28th can't come soon enough!

Thank you to anyone who actually takes the time to read this.[/quote']

I completely relate to this post but do have a problem with being fat and I am also doing this for my health. My surgery is June 18th how did yours go?

Ramirelek, put this post in "vertical sleeve talk lounge" and give it a title and that way you will get more responses.

My first question is what country is it that your husband wants it take your daughter to.. Without any of your family along too?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
