I would love to know the circumstances under which an insurance company paid for your TT.

I did check into this. Most insurance companies do not cover it unless it is a medical issue (like sores under the skin flap) or if the extra skin is causing depression. If you find out any different I would like to know.

I was talking to my dr about extra skin, although I have a slim chance for it he told me they push to have it covered. Not 100% sure on this though.

My insurance company says it has to be a medical issue, and depression is not a sufficient medical issue (according to their policy). So I guess it really depends on each individual policy.

My insurance covers a tummy tuck and breast lift completely if you document a rash and what not..only issue is I'm pre children so I wouldn't want one before that. I'm also pre op so who knows if ill need one

A lot of insurances that cover it require either the skin to hang past the pubic mound or for there to be a documented history of panniculits, rashes, wounds or other chronic skin conditions that can't be treated by other means.
