Left scapula issue
If you have already had the sleeve done you can not take anti-inflammatories. This will cause ulcers. Check with your doctors again.

Regretting surgery
You should have been notified that you would have mood swings after surgery. Your chemicals are all messed up right now. It will get better with time. As for 3 weeks out and having to hold the inceasion???? I never had that, I would check with your doctor. You can't go back so find a way to move forward and be happy with each step you take. Good luck to you.

Tired of women leaving me for the "cute skinny guy"
You are never going to change other people so concentrate on yourself. You don't know if they left because of the guys build or maybe it was your insecurities. Work on yourself and find a way to love yourself with no one in it. This whole thing is about you. Accept it as a girf to yourself (you are allowed to do that) and it will make you grow and be happerier about you. Love will come your way just let it happen. Don't go looking for it and don't force it. Funny, things have a way of working out in the long run.

Those of you that experienced hair loss: How did you deal with it?
I was so worried about my hair falling out I had nightmares. I would sit up in bed and all my hair would still be on the pillow. Thank god it is not that bad. I have a little thining but nothing you can notice. I am luck to have thick hair and when a few stains fall out I can hide it well. I see some people have posted some extreme post back to you but I have never heard of anyone being so bad off they needed wigs or anything like that. Good luck to you and don't worry you will be fine.

PLEASE HELP! Serious Advice Needed!
As you stated it is not like before surgery. I don't get hungery but I feel very empty inside. I have to remind myself to eat because I work 3rd shift and it makes it hard to eat right. As for the first part of the questions, You will hit stalls and you may see that even though you don't see the scale falling does not mean you are not losing. You can lose inches and not lose wieght. I am going to say that is what is happening. Don't panic just yet. You can up your protein, increase your calories, and start exercising. At 2 months out I was back to full time exercise. Try going out and walking.

Heartburn!
You can have Prilosec but not anti-acids. I have had heartburn since the day of surgery and I spoke with my surgeon. You can take 40 mg of the Prilosec. Good luck to you.

Pain
You should feel soreness that area has just been through a lot of changes. Please make sure what you are feeling is pain and you are not getting it confused with the gas pressure. Most people think they should hurt so they mistakenly think the pressure is pain. Don't do too much, there is a stick inside of you (most don't know this). Take yor time you will have enough time to lose weight and shape up. Good luck to you and a speedy recovery.

Momentive....is ....slowing....down
Please keep in your mind you are pre-op so right now there is no damage to you. This is when you should fall and pick yourself right back up. They and start a food journal with foods and amounts and work your way back from there. We all fall but, as you said, that is no reason to throw in the towel. Each day write down something you are really wanting out of your surgery (other than just losing weight). Maybe it is getting off meds. Maybe it is wear clothes you dreamed of. Try and set markers so you have small victories. I went on the front lawn (when I hit 50 pounds loss) and danced to "Can' touch this". This was my victory. I don't care what the neighbors think, they don't get it. I wish I could be more of a help but if you follow these steps I believe it will help you more than concerning yourself with what has already been done. Good luck to you.

how long did it take to get off bp meds
Ok here we go. For nauesa you can take 40mg of the Omerpazole (prilosec). It really dos help. Have had a lot of nauesa. I was sleeved on May 6th 2013 and stop my bpmeds about 1 week ago. I watch my bp and for the 1st time it is normal and staying there. I spoke with the doctor and he said I could offically stop bit. Hurry, it does not seem like a big thing but for me it is huge. As for your other meds I would check and see if they are alright to take after surgery. Goole them, example; taking calicum after gastric surgery. A lot of the extended release meds are not approved becuase it passes thru your stomache before it has enough time to be absorbed in the stomach. There is a huge list of no no meds and all should be aware of them.

Periods
Since I got surgery I have noticed my periods are getting extremely bad. Not only the pain but the clots are huge. The first month I went to the ER and they told me to see a GYN. I got into one a few weeks later. They said to take Acetaminophen. I can't just keep taking it for at a giving birth.

Tears of joy
If it helps you get through it here is my story. I started at 250 on May 6th (when I had surgery) as of my 60 days out I was at 200. Once I hit 199 I went on the front lawn and danced with my daughter to "Can't touch this" at my 90 days I hit a stall and am stuck at 187. That is ok because one it breaks the excitement will be like the first day again. My goal is 130 and I know I am going to make that by the end of the year. Stay positive and always be thankful for your loving husband.

Please enlighten me
I would love to hear your opinion on this post. I sit at work and wonder why life is so unjust. All my life I have struggled for everything I have. As a teenager I had to work for any money I needed. I did not get to go on the class trips, I did not get the yearbok, famcy clothes yet I worked and learned how to get what I wanted and what I needed. As an adult I still struggled, with a 1 year old son I went to college and earned a degree, and still worked my way through at RadioShack. Due to circumstances beyond my control I found myself a single parent. Once I finished college I moved back to my hometown area and my son and I started a life. No help from my parents, young and not being able to leave the home even to meet people. I went garage sale to garage sale buy this and that. I filled my 1 bedroom apartment. He got the bedroom and I on the couch. Once I settled I landed a job at WalMart (hey it's something). I was having trouble finding a way to work and get my child off to school, at no point in my life did I ask for or take a goverment handout. My mother told me I need to stay at home with my son and collect welfare. I wanted more for him and myself. I wanted to work. This whole time my parents lived right below me and would never help. When I did ask them for help she told me there is a shelter in our area that would take us in. Slowly over time and my son growup. I started different jobs paying more money. Was able to purachse a washer and dryer and moved into a mobile home (2 BEDROOMS). I got up to working 2 jobs but that took away a lot of time with my son and cost a lot for a babysitter. When my son was 9 I met a man and seem to be the dream life. We all moved in together and I found that "Larry" did not have any thing of his own, like money, the house was in foreclosure and the diswasher was filled with bills (how can I make that one up). I found that I was pregant. I had a wonderful daughter. As Larry's drinking was consuming his life I took my kids and moved out again. Starting over, I bought my first piece of new furnature, A COUCH. Things were always tough but I figured that as much as I have been through I can start over again. Now my son is an adult and in the Navy, I could not be prouder. My aughter is now 9 years old and I found myself a man when she was 2. He is not a perfect man, we keep our money seperate and split the bill. We have been together for 7 years now. To sum up the run on drama story. Why do sone people get life handed to them and have no clue the value of a dollar, or don't mind sitting on their butt's waiting for the goverment to send them something to barely live on and here am I. Working like a dog 3 shift making just enough to pay my bills and have a little left. WHY IS IT SO UNFAIR, life that is......

Non believers
I found your post to be very open and mad to not infringe on anyone else's beliefs. I too do not look to any kind of hgher power. I have a nephew who is gong to college to be a minister. That is great for him but that does not give him the right to jam it down my throat. He also leans to much on my mother (and she does not have a pot to piss in). If he needs financial help why does he not ask his higher power. I am not saying I am the only one out there but, if there was a higher power why was life so hard on me, who appericates everything people do or say. A simple "you can do it, I believe in you" goes so far with me. Still life is one huge struggle. While you have people out there just sitting home not working, complaining that their goverment handout is not enough. and get the world handed to them. If there was a "god" why would I never get a push up. Here I am getting off track. If there was something or someone higher than us why is there suck horrible things happening to innocent childern. Where is he for them.

$400 Million Dollars?
Beach lover - Did your Uncle do anything for you when he hit it? I would buy an RV travel in the states, Buy a nice home on a lot of acres. Donate some to animal shelters (have to look at them close) I am not their to pay someone else's salary. I would buy thigns for it, NO CASH!!!!! I would set my mother up with her own little house with room for the biggest garden ever. I would not help my sister because she nevered helped herself. Pay for any neices and nephews who want to go to college. I guess over all just be happy. I would not invest anything into this country right now.
