Just wanted to post a "less than perfect" day, cuz, ya know, they DO happen... Here's today:

Breakfast: 4T half and half, a cup of coffee and a 20 gram Protein Powder scoop= 165 calories

Snack: 1/2 cup cottage cheese and an ENTIRE snack size bag of doritos= 220 dalories

Lunch: 1 scrambled egg, 1/2 cup of refried black Beans, 1 ounce of cheese and 1 ounce of turkey=307 calories

Snack: 3 "mini" (the real minis not the Funsize) milky way dark 1/3 cup refried beans and 1/2 ounce cheese= 250 calories

Dinner: one whole Tomato stuffed with feta cheese and topped with onion and more cheese and baked= 274 calories

Snack 2T half and half and coffee= 40 calories

Total calories for day: 1255 My goal was 1240 so I'm 15 calories over..

Total Protein for day:83 grams. my goal is 70-90

Yeah, would have been better to eat veggies/fruit instead of doritos and candy, but ugly days happen!

If you like Greek yogurt, try making a shake with that. The fat free fage 0 has 23 grams of protein per cup. Also, have you tried the unjury? It sat better than others for me.

unjury is the only one I can tolerate at this point. I ordered the starter pack first (~$25) with a couple packets of each flavor . Liked the unflavored & strawberry best.

strawberry mixed with Crystal Light Lemonade is my fav

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
