And personally, I like junk in the trunk. My trunk, your trunk, anyone's trunk. Flatbutt just doesn't do it for me.

And of course all of my boyfriends are junk in the trunk kinda guys or they wouldn't be dating me, that is for sure!

Hi all!

Audree you brought up a very good point, about goal weight. I have no clue what my goal weight is. Right now my goal is not to have to shop in the plus size department.

You are all much younger than I am, so you don't have to worry about wrinkles. I have seem some thin older ladies whose faces are all wrinkled up. I know I will never be a little tiny size, but I will be much happier with myself when I look in the mirror and know I look better than I did before. I guess I am not putting very big expectations on myself, but right now all I can do is try not to look too much in the future and concentrate on eating the right way for today. I felt really depressed and angry with myself for blowing it over the weekend, and I hate that feeling!

Terry,

Skip tomorrow's weigh in. Give yourself time. Remember we are on a journey, not a trip.

I didn't do so good today either. My DD and I went shopping, of course that means going to lunch. I was so tight I PB'ed everything and brought home the huge meal that was left, so I ate that for dinner. it was really, really good. But not the best calorie wise, oh well, tomorrow is anothe day, right?

Have a great night.

Thanks Jane for the encouragement and permission to skip weighing. I think I'll need to wait several days.

I do need to remind myself this is a not a quickie diet, but long term journey.

Still, I was disappointed with myself. I did much better today.

Terry

Denise, I'm old enough to worry about wrinkles. And I do. I think my chubby face is why I don't have more than I do.

I was disappointed with my eating over the weekend too. I woke up this morning with a determination to make up for the weekend over the next couple of days. I made much better choices for food today, drank extra Water and dragged myself to the gym. After dinner tonight I took my dog on a long walk through the neighborhood.

I'm going to try to do the same tomorrow.

Audree, is your goal weight based on BMI, or your past experience with what you feel comfortable with?

I'm not sure where my goal should be. My family doctor feels that at my age I should be healthy with a weight that is heavier than I think is my goal. I might be basing my goal on when I was in my 20's, so my goal might need to change as I get closer.

Right now I am concentrating on mini-goals. Like, I have lost 20 pounds, and my next mini-goal is another 20 pounds. I know the next 20 will take much longer. For me breaking this up into smaller goals is easier.

Audree,

I am not sure how to determine what goal weight should be. I have been down to where I wouldn't say I was at goal weight but I could have lived at that weight the rest of my life. Somewhere around 175 lbs for me, I am comfortable in my own skin. When I am 150 I feel like I look great but I always wanted to weigh 140. I guess I will know when I get there. I hope.

Audree,

I would definitely watch the volume, as I have no restriction and I have PBd 3x and slimed 2x now. I PBd this morning eating Morningstar Farms Sausage. So it is a Protein Shake or oatmeal for me in the morning.

I thought it was just a morning thing, but 1 PB and 1 slime have come at lunch. I am always trying to eat too fast though, that is my problem I think. Anyway, I would still watch the volume, eat slow and eat small. You are doing totally awesome!

I feel ya about buying new clothes. Have you thought about trying to tailor or pin your slacks in the waist at the back? It probably won't work for jeans but it will for slacks (I know this from experience). Then it only costs you a safety pin!

You are probably not very far from a size 10. Have you gone and tried any on? If you can squeeze into them for now (thank goodness they put spandex in jeans now!) then you can probably wear them for another 20-30 lbs?

I think I am like a 12.

I was 145 and it was good! I have never been below that. My bmi chart says something like 118 to 145.

I think I will make some mini goals too!

Hey guys, I just wanted to check in and let everyone know that I have had a really good morning so far! I was late, as usual, but brought Crave Control Yogurt with me to eat in the car. I ate 2 of them, but that is still hardly any calories. I had no problems with PB/sliming. I was full and satisfied and then later got a Zone Perfect bar which I ate really slowly. It was solid but it chewed up really well, so no golf ball feeling in my chest. So I had a filling Breakfast and snack with a lot of Protein and followed the bandster rules today!

In other words, I think I have found out how to have a good morning with the band and feel satisfied. I have only had 5 incidents total of PB/sliming but it is very stressful, especially while I am healing. So I am glad to feel like I have learned what works and feels good to me.

I absolutely think PBing and sliming is a very big deal and very detrimental to having the band and I don't want to do it. So this has been my top priority for the last week. I was very upset yesterday when I PB'd, trying to eat slow and eat a good breakfast.

Audree, I think the 1 cup thing isn't necessarily for everyone. It just works well for me. Otherwise I want to clean my plate.

On the goal weight, mine is not permanent either. When I get there, I will decide if I am happy or not. According to my BMI, it is a good goal, but I just won't know until I get there. And I will be there this summer!!!!!!!!!

I WILL BE THERE THIS SUMMER. < this is for me. :-)

Hello!!!

I went out to breakfast with my dad this morning to Denny's. It was nice!

Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs, 3 sausages and 2 bacons (left the hash browns, ham and pancakes there!)

Liquids: 32 ounces of watered down crystal light

Supplements: 1 tbsp. Glacial Milk, 1 QuickSlim30, need to take my 1 Biotin

I have no restriction, but find myself stopping for some reason. It is not an uncomfortable feeling or pain, I can't explain what makes me stop.

I have not pb'd or slimed.

I almost feel guilty for posting how things are going for me since I am not having any problems so far. :phanvan

Don't feel guilty Audree! We all want to be successful and seeing someone who is doing it the right way, not having any problems and losing weight is very motivating. I love reading all your great posts about how good you are doing and how good you feel.

If anything, I feel bad that if you have a bad day, you may not feel like posting because you have been doing so great.

You rock and keep those posts coming!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
