  1. Thanks guys. I have had a fever now for the last 3 days. My stomach does hurt deep. If I hiccup it really hurts. I definitely need to see the doctor instead of trying to figure it out on the internet.... You know what they say about people in health care.... BAD PATIENTS!
  2. Hey everyone, I have had a fever for the last 2 days... 101 - 102* F. No other symptoms that would make me think I have a cold or flu. Just a fever and muscle aching. I also have no appetite, which could just be because I am sick. I also feel some pain around where my band is deep in my body, especially if I take a deep breath. Mostly I am freaked out about the fever. Has anyone had any experience about the body rejecting the band? If so, what happened? How did you feel? How did you know your body was rejecting the band?
  3. no I don't, but you can ask some of them...
  4. Denise, you made me laugh with your anti-penis posting post. I haven't dated in about a year. I keep having dreams about ex-boyfriends. I am moving in about 4 weeks and am planning on starting to date. I have me a few match.com guys a couple of weeks ago but I just wasn't feeling it so I pulled my ad. Which I have done about 4 times in the last year. I don't know why I just haven't been feeling like dating. Eh.
  5. liberty, If it was me and I saw my ex, I would say hi and keep right on walking. No introducing the person I am with because that implies friendship with your ex, which if he was cheating why would you want to remain friends? A hi acknowledges him and doesn't make you look bitter but he needs no other information about your life. Go out and have fun and don't waste your evening looking for or worrying about someone who is now in the past. Your past doesn't control your future unless you let it.
  6. A lot of times it is our own insecurities that add the, "for a fat person" after a compliment. I know that I am definitely my own worst enemy and NO ONE has ever said anything meaner to me than I have thought to myself about myself. Good point Moody.
  7. Then the only person getting anything out of it is him.... which means you can find so much better somewhere else. For me, dating is a numbers game. Meaning, I will go out with most people at least once to see if there is a connection, even if they don't seem that great on paper (the internet sites is where I find my dates). That also keeps me busy and out of trouble with those "bad boy" guys that are so tempting but sooooo bad for me. Hopefully you will be able to resist him and start looking for someone else. Looking for someone else doesn't mean you have to settle for someone less than what you want or deserve.
  8. Ditch him. He's taken. He isn't going to leave her or make you a priority. The only priority he has is himself. And in my opinion since he can't keep his commitments or be faithful, he is not a man or a boy.... he is an ass. Also, I say do unto others as you would have done to you. How would you feel if your husband, the father of your children, was sleeping with some girl a block away from you? It doesn't make either one of you look like that good of a catch in my opinion.
  9. the thing about being single is that I have a choice! Do I want something serious, do I want something fun? I think as long as I am acting within what I want for myself, then its all good. It is when I start compromising what I want for myself to make the guy fit is when I run into problems. Easier said than done of course.
  10. I am used to my first fill also. I don't have my second one scheduled yet. I am going to have it by the end of the month though. I can definitely still eat a lot but not as much as before. I have definitely PBd and slimed. Since my first fill I can no longer eat fast food except a couple of things from Taco Bell. But ANY food from anywhere else fast food causes me to PB. I am very glad about that because I really no longer think about fast food. I have been an exercise slacker the last 2 weeks. I am not really losing weight because I eat a lot of calories but I have changed so many habits. I absolutely know that I will lose weight eventually once my fill is right. I absolutely feel healthier because of all the habit changes. Weight loss will come because my habits are changing. Even if I never lost a pound, I would feel better because I feel healthier and I am not focused on food all the time.
  11. I say do what your doctor says over everything else. There are always a million ways to do things in healthcare. You will find what works for you over time. I know I am learning new things every time I get a fill...
  12. going down, I think that your bf should be forgiven. Sometimes, even if someone knows it is going to hurt, they still don't realize how much it really hurts and how long the hurt lasts. Even if he thinks that about you, it doesn't mean he doesn't care about you or love you. It doesn't have anything to do with your worth to him. Let it be his moment of being an ass and let it go. Good luck you guys!
  13. If he wants to come for a visit and he stays in his own hotel room, I say why not?
  14. WOW CLC I would be sweating bulllets too. glad you are doing great.
  15. Wootsie, It sounds like you are burning up the internet. Go girl. I say don't decide until you actually meet the people. Until then, it is all up for grabs.
