Wow! It took me about 20 min to fill out the questions. But it was pretty quick in easy! Guess I lucked out! So far everything has been do quick and easy for me' date=' I'm waiting for something to give!! When do you find out your surgery date?[/quote']

I wish it was quick and easy... Lol like I said not hard questions, but filling in 700 answer bubbles takes time.

They sent my information to I durance yesterday... So any time in the next 6 weeks I should get a call to schedule it... I'm so nervous every time my phone rings... I started with my seminar in October 2012, then had my surgeon visit in November 2012, and my first of 6 nutritionist visits in December 2012. Now I'm just waiting...

You had a lot to do! I went to the orientation on April 18. As of yesterday I'm all set with everything as far as I know. I may need to get a CT scan but they were going to check into that. I am waiting for my case coordinator to email me my dates when I meet with the surgeon. I am neurotic checking my phone every 5 seconds to see if she sent them yet!! I am hoping for a July date, she seemed to think I'd be good to go by June. I'm a teacher, so I want to wait until schools out! Can't come quick enough!

Yes! Lots and lots to do. I also had to do labs, an EKG, and a barium swallow. The barium swallow was the worst.

I also have to get clearance from my PCP after insurance approval, but before surgery. I'm just glad that the last 6 month hasn't take too long. :)

I just hope the days/weeks til I hear from insurance go by just as fast :)

I did my psych eval over the phone. She asked me 20 yes or no questions and that was it. Told me I passed and to pick up my results to give to my surgeon when I meet with him.

My psyche appointment is Thursday the 17th. I hope mine isn't long. I'm going to go pick up my pre registration papers on tomorrow so they'll be already done. The insurance receptionist at the Dr. office said after that and if all goes well she'll submit the paperwork to my insurance. Hopefully I'll have a June date.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
