June surgery dates

  • Popular Post

Hello all! I've been reading the forum for the past couple of months, thank you all for the great advice and sharing your experiences. It's been very helpful and informative! I met with the surgeon a week ago today, my surgery date is June 26. Anyone else for June?

I had surgery 6/25. Yesterday I drank 2 oz of protein and was so "stuffed" it was uncomfortable so now I am only drinking one ounce per hour of the protein. The test is crystal light. I am feeling ok but pain is sort of a problem with my big incision. Like others my smaller ones are fine.

Good luck to today's sleevers :D will see you on the sleeved side!

Every time I sip something down I want to burp because it pushes air up is this ever going to go away ???

Sent from my iPhone using VST

I was too tired... didn't even turn on the tv!

Me too , I brought my laptop but haven't use it. I was sleeply. I would check in here and then to sleepy to do anything but walk the halls.

I am sleeved!!! Got it done today, as well as hernia removal/fix, and gallbladder removal! 5 holes...don't know size, still taped up, in bed in hospital until Friday probably....but doing very well

Yeah! So glad you are doing well

Should be ok though, drinking a lot, according to the directions I was given.....we are on the life- change side now, I think the worst is over thank God....I am very lucky, no real problems, no nausea, very little dizziness--mostly just last night....only a few short gas pains today...hope you have a speedy recovery.....yay to us June sleevers!!

My sister Linda and I were both peeved Monday and doing great! Clear liquids for a week and it's not bothering either one of us. This is day 3 post op and we got up showered, put on make up and wnt out to walk the city. We were both a bit Gurgley but that's passing nd all is well. So far, do good! Hope all June sleeves are doing well!!
