Hello all! I've been reading the forum for the past couple of months, thank you all for the great advice and sharing your experiences. It's been very helpful and informative! I met with the surgeon a week ago today, my surgery date is June 26. Anyone else for June?

I was sleeved today <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I have had nothing unexpected. I have pain when moving but when laying in bed I feel fantastic for just having major surgery. I was allowed to drink today. My surgeon allows it so I feel blessed in that way. So I have been walking sleeping nd sipping. Oh and don't forget pushing to morphine pump button.

Oh and two things that have been life saver. For ladies front closing bra with no underwire. Andi asked if I could get an abdominal binder. That is awesome <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Ditto! Day 8, feel good. Big incision still sore. Itching like crazy.

Sleeved just over 12 hours ago. Can't sleep, cause I have to pee every 30 minutes. Guess that means I'm not dehydrated, right. Pain is under good control with IV meds. So far I have "feasted" on ice chips and some decaf tea. Wishing you all the very best in your journey!!

You will do great! I am 2 days out and feeling great! I was one of the lucky ones! Not much pain for me. I got dry heaves a couple of times but nothing like having a c-section or breast reduction. This was a cake walk compared to those two! You need not to worry, you got this sister!!! Sending prayers for comfort & quick healing!!!

It's your anything like me your up early bc you can't sleep (it's 430am here in CA and I'm not scheduled till 1130, why can't I sleep?)

I had my sleeve yesterday morning. They are anticipating that I will be discharged lae afternoon. I feel blessed that I am doing well.
