EDITED TO FOCUS ON ME AND MINE

I couldn't do my doctor's 2 week diet and I plan to be just fine on the sleeve. I think the point you're missing is if I could follow a diet, I wouldn't need the sleeve.

When I get the sleeve, I will be physically restricted from over eating. I will also be less hungry since 65% of my ghrelin should be removed. I will also be fuller quicker. I had none of that going for me on the 2 week low-carb, high Protein diet my doctor wanted me to follow.

You surgeon can only givebyounthe tools to be a success. Yet I've read on here people still trying to cheat or do a easy way out

If your not prepared to change for good why waste the time or money

A surgeon gives rules to follow. People need to stop wondering about other surgeons and follow the your paying for

If you smoker you have no business gettingbthevsleeve. The doctor tells you his for a reason. If you can't stick to a two week pre op diet how do you expect to becacsuccess withbthevsleeve

I wish everyone great success. And a healthy journey. Remember nothing taste as good as thin feels

Ok, I'm still new here, but have seen mention of some omnipotent source that edits certain posts...who does this? How do they decide what gets to stay or go?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
