How long is the stall going to last? Is it because I'm eating solid food now?.. I only been in the potty for 3 times after surgery =/ I'm ready frustrated.. idk what to do =(

Mine lasted a little over a week. Try to get all your fluids in because that's what helped me through it. Don't get frustrated like I did because I even gained a few pounds. The scale will start moving again.

I was sleeved may 3rd. I'm on my 2nd stall. Its hard not to get discouraged. I've only lost 19.5 since surgery. I know that's still good but I just want my scale to move. Even if its a pound a week!

I was sleeved 05.08.13 and have lost 26 lbs, but alot was lost first 2 weeks. I am losing about 1-2 lbs a week and my doc said that is so normal. States will pick back up around 3 months out. I'm very happy with my loss and try to stay focused on making the healthiest choices a habit. The weight will take care of itself.

So happy to see that I'm not the only one who has gained weight on 600 calories a day. I was sleeved 28 May and had lost 32lbs since pre op diet but then I stalled and put on 5lbs last week. It made me very anxious and depressed but feeling a little better now. Roll on the end of this stall so I can get happy on the scales again! Lol.

I wanted to say I got some excellent advice when I was told to measure myself as well as weigh because you'll lose inches when you don't lose pounds. In the past five days I lost one pound and I lost 6 3/4 inches. That made me very happy!!!

So I went to the doctor yesterday and he took me off my diabetic meds and one of my blood pressure meds! I'm so excited!

That is fantastic news for you. You must've been so happy to hear that. That's my goal to get there too! Well done :)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
