Nausea in the mornings!

Recommended Posts

I'm 3 1/2 weeks post surgery and lost 32 lbs so far. I'm extremely nauseated in the mornings. Any ideas of what I can do to help it go away?

Sorry you're feeling icky in the mornings. I'm not trying to be flip or rude (since i don't know how old you are) but have you thought of taking a pregnancy test?

I had that in the beginning, I started keeping Water next to my bed and had a little before I actually got up. I also make sure I eat something small before I go to bed, I think it was the lack of calories :) Luckily it went away.

I'm 41 and NOT pregnant. LOL my husband had a vasectomy ;)

I've tried Water in the mornings and still nauseated. Thanks for the advice though ????

Does the nausea start before or after you eat? Dairy, dehydration, or your Vitamins could all be the cause of persistent nausea.

I had that problem in the beginning but thankfully it does go away. I just make sure to eat before going to bed and I eat every 2-3 hours throughout the day. Maybe consider sleeping with a small snack next to the bed, that's what I did and it helped. Now at 6 months post op I don't have that problem.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
