I find that cereal does not hold me at all, neither do Protein Shakes. Try having eggs for breakfast or something that's a little more dense and full of Protein. Same thing about the snacking- protein such as beef Jerky, cheese, etc will hold u longer than veggie sticks.

As for pizza- eek, u r brave to bring it in the house! Lol. I love pizza. At first I had a hard time eating just one piece, but I knew that if I stretched out my eating I could eat more. Then I thought omg I'm eating around my sleeve! Super not good.

Ur on to something- get back to basics. U can do it. I recommend doing it now because I feel like I can eat more now at a year than I did at nine months. We have to be diligent about our choices. Good luck!

You should be eating every 2.5-3 hours, I am 10 months out and if I don't eat every 3 hours my surgar drops drastically. I am not diabetic, its hypoglycemia. Make sure your drinking your Water too, I find I am head hungry if I am not getting that in as well.

Try not to go 7 hours without eating a meal. When you finally do eat, you will eat more and feel horrible after wards. If you want more than 1 slice of pizza, then scrap the topping off and don't eat the bread. You can do this.....are you at goal yet? How much do you have to lose still? I really miss reading the tickers here... :( Keep it up and try not to eat around your sleeve..... :)

I have to eat every 2-3 hours or I get sick. You are waiting way to long between meals...and then you can't resist the temptations of bad eating. Keep good Snacks redily available....and don't have any of the crap in your house! Makes it a lot easier to avoid those temptations if you are already full on good stuff...and you don't have the bad stuff around! Good luck!

I definitely feel that head hunger too! Up your Water intake (if you're not getting enough). It sounds like you might not be getting enough Protein. It looks like you're getting lots of carbs (cereal and pizza dough) but not enough protein- your only sources there are the cheese and milk! Have eggs or sausage or even leftover meatballs for breakfast if it'll help you be less hungry!

Sorry, we can't give you what you need, WILL POWER. Just stand in front of your mirror and decide what is it you want for that person staring back at you. Do you want a slim and bright future, or do you want that pizza instead and all the fat that will come with it? YOU decide.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
