How much u can eat at 9mos post op?
You should be eating every 2.5-3 hours, I am 10 months out and if I don't eat every 3 hours my surgar drops drastically. I am not diabetic, its hypoglycemia. Make sure your drinking your water too, I find I am head hungry if I am not getting that in as well.

I Love Having Water At Night Again!
I was revised back in July as well, I am struggling to get the last 10-15 pounds off you would think after 2.5 years with the lap band I would know how to eat. I had more success loosing weight with the band than I do now. Of course I could not eat anything with the band. What do you find is the difference in the weightloss?

Meal Plans
I use my fitness pal to log my food choices and it tells me how many food calories i have eaten and there are so many other VSGr's on there and they are supportive. As for meal plans I have googled VSG meal plans and there are a few hospitals that have posted their sample plans but your nutrionist should have given you one. It gets easier.

November 09 Knockouts! Check in here POST surgery! :)
Hey Ya'all just wanted to update you since its been two years as of yesterday since I had surgery. Hard to believe two years has gone by. I started out at 273 pre surg and now and I am 170, I was down to 160's but got sick and had to have the fluid removed and gained 15 pounds and now I am struggling to get back down there again, I go next month for another follow up but my doc pretty much is considering me in the "maintence phase". Hoping to be down to MY goal of 150 by next year at this time.

November 09 Knockouts! Check in here POST surgery! :)
My husband's parents moved from here in Vt. to NC they wanted to retire and were not going to be able to do it since Vt is so expensive for cost of living. And so my husband is an only child and we decided to be closer in case something should happen, they are in their mid 60's and in fair health. Plus we hate the cold bitter winters, we both have lived in Vt our whole lives and want out.

No restriction whatsoever!
I got my first fill this week so hoping and praying this does it so far so good, but due to the swelling I have restriction and the doc said my port still had a small amount of swelling which I thought for almost 9 weeks was odd, but he said it was normal. He has the Phd not me.

Valentine's Day Wt loss Challenge 2010
Sorry I have not been posting but life has been crazy we have decided to move to NC, in 9 weeks so I am running around trying to find people to move our stuff and tell everyone we are moving. I got my first fill this week and I am so glad, I really needed it. I have about 12 more pnds to loose to reach my V-day goal. I am hoping I make it but if I don't then I don't.

No restriction whatsoever!
I am 8 weeks post op and no fill til Tuesday due to Dr. scheduling and mine. I have had some really bad times of being hungry but what I found was when my tummy said it was hungry I would drink some water to help in between meal times and it would satisfy the hunger. Bandster Hell sucks but we can trick our tummies one way or another. And making sure we get our 60-70 grams of protein.:cursing: Elizabeth
