Vajay jay question....?!

Recommended Posts

I was wondering Ladies if you had a fatty deposit above the vajay jay? I believe it's the Mons Pubis.. Did that go down after weight loss? Or is it something ill have to add to the old surgery list?

Thanks

Sheena :-)

It does shrink:) not sure how much as I'm not quite there yet, but I feel a lot more bones down there than I have in along time:)

So glad someone asked this. Thought I was the only one that worried about it. Would love to see what others have to say.

My friend had a tt after lots of weight loss and her's went down and they addressed that extra skin too... She looks a lot better 'down there', but she does grow some pubic hair on her lower tummy... She's had lazer done, but still has to shave or use a depilatory... It would be worth it to me... Is to her too

I think it would be worth having to wax or shave your tummy if it meant not having that skin/fat above the lady part!

Thanks for answering my question!

Sheena :-)

It may not shrink down all the way. I have had some PS that included Lipo and it is much better now.

I will totally need plastics as well. I'm still

Pre-sleeve but I need to lose around 130. I carry it in my stomach area.

Have you ever You Tubed a video for Tummy Tuck or body contouring? I watched one last night and it's INTENSE! It's scary, but I think it's sooooo worth it for sure!

Sheena :)

Yeah...I have watched them. Totally looks dreadful! However I want nothing more then to get rid of this skin on my tummy! I will be getting a lift and implants for my boobs too since the last 20 pounds I have lost hit my poor boobs bad. I went from a double d down to a very heavily padded d! My husband calls them flap jacks! They look like I had a balloon blown up to its ultimate max...then got popped! My surgeon suggested getting bigger ones then I want...he said he has never had a woman say she wished she got smaller implants....I said I don't want my boobs entering a room five seconds before my body does! Lol I just want them to be full and perky...and my stomach flat. I could probably fit into about 2 sizes smaller in my pants if it weren't for my skin on my tummy! But at least I can see my lady parts again! Lol

Well, I would say it looked way worse after my weight loss. I swear it seemed like I lost weight everywhere except in that area. When I had my Tummy Tuck they did Lipo and lifted that area and the problem was solved. Phew, phew and triple phew.

That's good to know! I plan on having a tummy tuck after I got goal and its good to know they can make it look more 'normal' again.

Yeah, mine is still "enlarged" up near the stomach, but pelvic bones are definately nearer the surface of the skin- I am getting ready for plastics and I need to ask more about expected changes there.

This is a common issue for people who lose alot of weight, but I don't know why.

I have a question, not necessarily vajay jay related, but plastics in general :) I am lucky enough that my insurance will cover my sleeve (hoping for July surgery date) and I'm not sure that I will ever be able to afford plastics. I already worry about the loose skin....I know that this is going to bother me when it happens. I worry that I will still feel as bad about my body as I do now. When you're big, if you're going to get naked in front of someone, they pretty much know what to expect. However, if you're smaller and look good in clothes, they aren't expecting to see a bunch of loose skin when you disrobe. My DH passed away in 2007 and I have not been in a real relationship since then, but I hope to be again one day. If you were unable to have plastics, would you still be okay with yourself?

This, along with my "apron," has not shrunk as much proportionally to the rest of my body. I do notice it feels thinner and the bone is closer to the surface but now since the skin has become deflated I feel like it falls over and hides my vag. My lower stomach has shrunk but not shrunk up. Again, it's just like the same amount of skin but not as filled so that hides my girl parts too. I was so looking forward to seeing her again but she's still pretty much hidden when I stand. I have quite a bit more to lose and I'm not sure if plastics are realistic since I was self-pay for VSG. I know muscle tone helps with saggy skin but I'm not sure if there are many exercises you can do for that part of your body! Someone wanna ask their trainer?! lol

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
