The pre-op diet was super tough for me too! I was HANGRY all the time' date=' but I did lose 12 pounds and it made me excited for the surgery. My only. advice is don't burn yourself out on the shakes, because you'll be drinking plenty of those after the surgery![/quote']

Thanks Dallas, feeling a lil better today. Were you on just all liquids or low carbs?

I weighed myself and I've lost 3lbs. Since Wednesday.

( 5days) I did however sprain my left ankle today at work. Then I cycled for 5miles, which probably didn't help. I felt ok then, but now.... well that's a different story. Thanks for your support. How far out are you? Thanks again!

I was on all liquid, but my dr said I could have a Lean Cuisine every other day for dinner. I am 1 week post-op and can barely get my Protein shakes down at all. I am drinking maybe an oz at a time! But my dr said it will get easier and I've been trying to check out other Protein choices. I am on the full liquids for 2 more weeks.

I am down 20 lbs as of today so yay!

So my pre surgery was over 70 grams of Protein less than 30 carbs. So I have been doing eggs , turkey meat, turkey sausage, chicken breast, Company dinner tonight at BBQ place. So I did just a little sausage, turkey, and lean brisket- very little sauce. Yesterday did salad with olives and turkey meat. Very low carb Italian dressing ....so I am staying under on my carbs. Hitting my protein. But that is what was asked of us. It's odd with all the variances. So hopefully what I have done is ok. Doing my surgery on the 24th

I didn't have any preop diet except 2 days before of 64g of Liquid Protein and 64oz of Water. Now I'm 7 days postoperative and struggling with the Protein shakes, Water is easier and I actually look forward to my gummi multi vitamin! Lol

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
