10 months post op, this really depends on the taco, if we are talking about the alpo they sell at Taco Hell I can do 2 taco supremes with hard shells. Soft shells I'd stick to 1.

I'm 6 months out and am at goal, I could eat most of 1 taco, if I ate it really slowly, and forced myself. I would probably be content with half a one though.

I am 7 weeks out and last week ate at taco bell... wife was craving it and we were in a time crunch. Anyways, I was able to eat the entire insides of a hard taco supreme and 3-4 bites of the shell. I think by 3-4 months out I will have no issues eating 1 entirely... maybe even closer to 2 tacos a year out.

Hmmm well, it depends on the taco but I can say that I can eat about half a standard taco (no rice) from chipotle. Thats the only kind I have tried but I would imagine I could probably do most of a regular taco bell taco.

I weighed a taco from chipotle once and if I remember correctly it was a little over 6 ounces - I did that because I was trying to decide how much of it I should sit down with and try to eat. 3-4oz is my standard serving so half was perfect.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
