Was just done Monday. Took some pain meds yesterday but feel better today. Stomach still hurts and I am pretty sore but I'm sure in time it will get better. Not easy drinkingso much but I am mixing 1/2 gatoraid and 1/2 Isopure in a 20 ounce bottle and driking it over about 4 hours. Feel bloated. don't think I am up to driving but I do have my follow up tomorrow so we shall see. glad to hear you're doing well.

So glad you are doing well Pammie. I am one week out today and it just seems to get a little better every day. One day at a time. So exciting to be on the healing side.

I am one week out and just had my postoperative appointment and talked about the "bloating type feeling" and they said that is normal to have that type of swelling feeling as you are given the fluids during and after surgery and it is your body healing itself. It does get better and glad you are doing well.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
