Give them the extra lbs and see how long they can carry it.If you died from being over weight they would be the first one to say, I wish you would have done something about your weight . The heck with the other guy do this for you. God Bless.

She's totally jealous. It's her problem, not yours. I'd rethink a friendship with her. Best of luck!

My thoughts exactly. You shouldn't need her to be ok with this if you are ok with your decision.

Slap her. And ever time she says it slap her mouth. She'll learn and as for her daughter slap her too and she's younger so it may take a few more hits. But in the end it'll work just like training a puppy.

Omg, you literally made me LOL, I mean really loudly too! Love it!

I already had the surgery, March 7, down 32 lbs. You can definitely tell. The last time I saw her she said, "I guess I can tell in your face, but everything else still looks the same." Ha! Such a witch. I'm becoming more at peace with this day by day. She is NOT a friend and I don't think she ever has been. She's a miserable person and I'm not. I think that's her main issue with me. Adios bitchacho! Ha!

when you are ready to get out rid of clothes, wash them, fold them nicely and with a super sweet smile bring them all to her and simply say, "I thought you might want first pick of these before I get rid of them." Leave it at that - as my mama always said, be sweet enough to leave them wondering if you are being a b***h or just clueless.....a nicey b***h was her exact term.

I had a friend like this. I've had numerous friends like this my entire life. I have a tendency to be codependent and I attract users. I've always been the support system for others but they have never been a support system for me. You sound a lot like me.

Thankfully I just don't have the time for those kind of friendships anymore. I let the last one go a few weeks ago. I thought she was my best friend but really I was her best friend. I was there when she needed me and she was never there when I needed her. It never got to the point where she was verbally or mentally abusive because I have a short fuse and stopped that quick the first time she tried to be nasty. But she was still a selfish @itch and I was a giving fool. Now with her out of my life I've had a chance to focus on more positive people and build some positive relationships. It was hard at first but it was necessary. I still think of her sometimes and I wish her the best but that's as far as it goes. I use to try to help with all her life problems but she has a God, just like I have a God, so it's not my place to fix her. I'm loving her from afar.

I'm glad you've been able to back away. That's a great start to completely ending an emotionally, mentally, and spiritually-draining relationship.

PS Congratulations on your weight loss! You've worked hard for it, you deserve it, and now you can reap the benefits from years of frustration. Hugs.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
