Never thought I would be grateful for

Here are all the weird things I never knew I would be grateful for 1 week out:

Refried beans! OMG! I advanced myself two days early I just couldn't take liquids any longer!

Pooping! I definately took that for granted before surgery. I can't have chia seeds yet so I'm trying Ducolax.

Naps! Normally I am not a napper but laying down and getting proper rest is really helping.

That incentive spirometer! Coughing hurts but being out of breath is worse. I'm using that thing every day!

How about you? What little things are you grateful for?

If you eat enough beans' date=' you won't need the chia seeds! And if you have a husband or boyfriend - tell him to get ready for some gassy payback!

I agree! I'm six weeks out and I incorporate refried Beans in my diet as a regular to keep me regular. And you know what? I haven't had a single constipation problem! That was the first thing I ate when I was allowed to eat and I hear ya, they were the best beans ever! Lol!
