This is hard to do, actually. All I can seem to think of are things I have to deal with every day. But here are the good things:

1. The cup of coffee my DH leaves for me in the bathroom each morning when he leaves for work (before I get up). Every day that makes me smile.

2. The "Mommy's home!" I get from two beautiful young ladies when I walk in the door every afternoon.

3. Taking pride in the fact that as a health insurance broker I can actually help people. (I am the only one I know who makes that a priority over just making a sale.)

4. Knowing that I am bringing home enough bacon to feed my family and provide for our futures.

5. My online distractions, LBT and others.

1. 20 minutes of solitude in the morning before anyone else gets up.

2. Taking the long way to work. It takes me 8 minutes rather than 5, but I get to go through farms and vineyards. Beautiful.

3. The angel that looks after me at work so I can do what I have to do. She runs interference when needed, screens my calls, cuts through any bureaucracy that befuddles me, respectfully and gently bullies me to get my paperwork done and makes me tea when I'm tired.

4. A few minutes each day to listen to music alone. My tastes are sometimes quite alarming to others.

5. Anticipation of the evening home with my family and pets.

1. DH, my life companion and absolute best friend. Our adorable dog. My job - I absolutely love what I do and have a very strong passion for doing it the best I can. Anticipation of the great things happening the following weekend. Spontaneous shopping trips. The time DH and I put aside every day when we get home from work just to lay in the silence and hold each other.

Guess I only have one.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
