Before and After Pics

  • Popular Post

I love seeing the progress people have made after surgery. So for those comfortable enough to share them I'd love to see your before and after (and even progress) pics. I haven't had surgery yet (and wont for at least another 3mths) so I don't have any to post but I still like seeing what I have to look forward to. The pic below is me at my highest of 316lbs 2hrs after my son was born.

I notice you have tats. I have the entire upper half of my back done, two 3/4 sleeves from wrist up not shoulder down, my left leg from my foot to upper thigh and Tats on my chest hands and right side calf. One of my goals once I lose the weight is to get an abdominal tat I've been dying to get. However, are you noticing any warping of your ink??

Here is my before and current. A year ago I had just given birth to my son and I was at my highest weight. I lost 30 some lbs and that's the October picture. Today I weigh 228. Goal is 175.

U look happy and healthy

You've gone a great job! Congrats!

Nope! If anything my color is more vibrant from my skin not being stretched. I didn't have a large loss of weight in any specific spots (all was rather even), so no warping of any of my tattoos. ;)

I don't know that I'm exactly inspirational, but I'm feeling really good and I'm really proud of myself.

I was sleeved on 12/19/2012. I am 43 years old and weighed 367. I am 6'3". I've lost a total of 127 pounds.

Nice, I can't find any topics on tattoos and wls, but I've been asked at numerous tattoo competitions to enter and I don't due to my weight. Entering is on my weight loss bucket list. I just don't want them to warp. Once I lose my remaining weight, I will literally have 1/3th of my body covered as opposed to 1/4th now! I have waited to do my ribs and upper abdomen until I lose weight, as well as my full back piece (besides upper back piece) and the last portion of my sleeves which is upper arms that will tie into my upper back piece. I have my husband making patterns now for when the time is ready!

That is awesome!!! I'm not "covered" only have random bits and pieces... But I'm guessing if your skin sags in certain spots, your tattoos would morph as well. Idk... Interesting to find out though...
